I got the size small (W 5-8, M 4-5). I pulled them out of the bag and was pleasantly surprised to see that they are not your typical ice cleats which I have used in the past. Ice cleats are typically much more difficult to put on with lots of velcro straps, tightening etc. Maybe they stay on better???But these are all the utility. They are made of elastic rubber and you literally just pull them on. They are very easy - took me 30 seconds to put them both on including the adjustment. You pull the front of the cleat over the tip of your boot/shoe and then just stretch it until it goes up over the back. Make sure the sides of the cleat are on the sides of your shoe instead of the bottom and off you go! The cleats aren't quite as long as typical ice cleats you might hike in but honestly I'd definitely take these on a hike. I think they'd be easier to hike in than ice cleats. Plus, you can use these just to shovel your driveway, walk into the office, walk to work, walk your dog or wherever and not worry about slipping in the ice. I seriously just left them on my boots when I took my boots off because whenever I wear my boots, it's icy so why not? I can't imagine NOT wanting more traction.I am a size 7 W and these fit amazingly on my boots. I have very typical Columbia snow boots and they were fine. Based on how they worked though, I have no doubts they would fit on any of my sneakers, vans, any of my other boots etc just maybe not the best with like flats but I have a pair of penny loafers that I could see putting them on in a pinch. Maybe I should get another pair and just put them in my car.The price is outstanding. About 20% less than your typical ice cleat. And if you've never actually tried typical ice cleats, believe me, these are better. Normal ice cleats aren't ridiculously easy to put on but they're much more difficult than these and I really doubt they're much better. I guess putting them to a long snow hike is in order to really put them to the test but that's not on my schedule right now lol.

Got these for some winter hikes, but use them daily in the winter as well just letting the pups out for potty time. Nice to have for slippery decks and sidewalks.

We seem to have an ice storm or just a melt and refreeze of the snow every year and it make for some treacherous footing. Ice Cleats like these can make a world of difference and is almost like walking of dry pavement instead of a sheet of ice.I got the Xl size for my size 13 shoes. You stretch the black rubber framework of the cleats over the toe and pull them back and around and above the heel. These cleats have a series of steel 'cups' with jagged edges to bite into the ice surface. The rubber framework seem very strong and has a good strength. The steel cleats seem like they will do the job well. My only reservations was I am not sure about the positioning of the spikes for the heel it though was farther forward than I was expecting, and the rubber was a stretched a bit tight on these big shoes. They will certainly do the job though and at a very good price point.I have these in my car as part of my winter emergency kit. When you need them, you need them.

I wear a size 13 shoe and as you might imagine, my boots are large. I wore these on a pair of duty boots on a very cold, snowy, and icy day. I had these stored in my car, so as they weren't at room temperature I expected them to be stiff. Maybe they were a bit stiff, but they still pulled over my boots reasonably. And they pulled fully over my large boot soles! They held securely when I was walking on asphalt, concrete, and river rock. They gripped the ice well. After taking them off, the cleats look like new, so I think they'll hold up well. Overall, these were as good as I was hoping for. I recommend them.

We just had a huge ice storm, and I must have fallen about 5 times over the course of one week so I ordered these ice cleats. I absolutely love them! They stretch over your shoes to give you great traction on the ice. I got the extra large, which was supposed to fit a Men's 10 1/2 - 14, I wear a size 12 and tried putting them over my Keen hiking boots and they barely fit. There is absolutely no way that these would fit on my Sorel size 12 snow boot never mind fit on my son's size 14 hiking boot. They probably need a 2XL size to cover the larger shoe sizes. They do look durable, but I am hoping that the rubber won't snap under the tension of being so stretched and enduring freezing temperatures. I do like them and recommend them.

i got size 11-14 but id say the max is 11. I wear 13 and the spikes don't stretch to the front and back of my foot all the way.

I live in an urban area that sees snow almost every winter (although we've had a strange few years, this season seems "back to normal"). These are SO perfect to throw in my bag (keeping them in their plastic baggie although might buy a waterproof bag for them) when it snows halfway through a day or the snow turns from crunchy to slick ice as it sometimes likes to do. I don't have snow boots and debate getting them every year, but we don't have the kind of snow that would warrant another purchase (that takes up space and only gets used 1 season). These are small, portable, easy to clean, and fit over my sneakers and rain boots pretty effortlessly. My one issue is that my feet are on the smaller side so the silicone feels a bit wiggly in areas and is very stretchy (so if it gets caught or snagged, there's gonna be trouble). I do wish they were adjustable in terms of tightening, particularly around the heel - the stretchiness makes sense toward the front of the foot but really should be more secure and tight in the back. But overall, these are the greatest invention since sliced bread, not even kidding! I feel prepared for last minute snow, can travel to other places over winter without dragging snow boots (after spending a white xmas and january in NC, these would have been pretty handy to have in my suitcase), and love that it allows me to wear my existing shoes - although I do prefer to wear waterproof boots in general with snow, so my rain boots get to be year-round precipitation shoes.
