This product was recommended to me by a friend. He told me that these were a cheap alternative to the more expensive spike treads. I was extremely skeptical, because I had never owned any spike treads before. Whenever I received them in the mail, they were packed well and appeared to be large enough to fit my size 10.5 boots. I'm happy to report that the size XL treads do indeed fit my boots. They attach snuggly and haven't come loose from the light activity I've put them through. For transparency, it isn't snowy or icy outside at the time I'm writing this review. I did, however, have the opportunity to walk, run, and jog through the grass and I didn't feel them come loose or slip. I'm curious as to how they will handle the snow and ice of Ohio (which is milder as compared to states like Montana for example). In any case, right now I'll have to give this item 5 stars due to the fact that it hasn't lied to me and appears to be the real deal. I'll patiently wait to see how they perform when faced with actual harsh weather conditions.

Haven’t wear it yet, it looks perfect and strong, also in good quality. Should suit for my 8 shoes, I bought it for snowy days so haven’t wear it yet, but everything looks so good for now.
