Works great! I bought this and some pellets. This worked much better than the pellets did and I was not afraid to use on my back deck where my pup goes out. It kept the trail out of the door to the steps and down clear of ice and snow. Would buy again

I put it on the sidewalk the mid-afternoon before the snow arrival the next day.The petals eventually leave a moist look on the sidewalk. Then when you shovel or sweep the snow it is very easy to remove.

Works as well said. I did put it on my blacktop driveway during a real icy time. Will be interested to see if iso g it once will effect it down the road.

I have a fairly long driveway, as well as a sidewalk to my porch that I have to shovel and clean a few times it snows here. This would not be enough to cover my entire driveway. But I only salt a 3 inch path from the end of my driveway, my sidewalk and the stairs leading up to my porch, and a minimal amount not only cleared everywhere. I dropped it, but also all the snow around. I used about half the bag and I currently have the only clean driveway and sidewalk on my road. :)It snowed again last night, and my sidewalk and driveway are still clean even though another inch and a half dropped and it’s 1° outside with a windchill of -12.So you don’t get much for what you pay, but what you get goes a long way.I cannot say for sure I would definitely buy it again, but I’m sufficiently happy enough with it where if it was all I could find, like it was when I originally bought it, that would come in in time for the snowfall, I wouldn’t be upset about buying it again.

This is a review of the Ice and Snow Melt. We don’t typically get a lot of snow in the area where I live. But I was fortunate to receive this order right before a snow storm. This blend worked really well to get rid of ice and prevent new ice from appearing. It was easy to use and worked fast. The photo I attached shows the area where I first placed the ice melt. After seeing the results, I ordered more and went back to add that to the rest of the sidewalk. I really like that it has a tint to help you spread it evenly. I received the 8 lb bag. That amount won’t cover a lot of area. So, I’m not sure this brand is as cost effective (at $21.99 / 8 lb. Bag) as some others. But I can easily say it works great!

I only use pet-safe products on my driveway and sidewalk - we have a lot of dogs in my neighborhood and I hate the thought that one would suffer from whatever I put down. I like this snow melt because I can see clearly where I have sprinkled it - the pink stands out against both the snow and pavement. I think it did a decent job of helping clear surfaces while also providing a bit of extra traction. I can still see some crystals on my porch steps days later. I found the eight-pound bag easy to manipulate and carry, though I decanted it into a spreader can for easier application without having to touch it. My only complaint with this is the value - as currently listed, it's $22 for one bag. That's a lot more than what I usually pay (usually about $1 per lb, so $25 for a 25-lb bag), and it just does not go very far considering I do the sidewalk and my driveway and front steps. I went through almost the entire bag in one stormy week, even being judicious about how much I was using. I won't get more unless the pricing comes down.
