I'm always unsure how honest the reviews are and some of these don't pan out, IMO. This mailbox is what it says it is. Well built, solid, functions properly. I read some reviews that said water gets in the corners. It's one solid piece from one side, across top, to other side. And there is over hang front and back I don't see how water can get in. No box is impenetrable when someone wants in bad enough. But this one will sure slow thieves down. The combo lock on front was super easy to change and to use. Key lock on back is what I'll use as I can access it from my front doorway without stepping outside. We mounted this on a 4 inch wooden mailbox post that is set in poured concrete. I believe it's as secure as one can get with an at home mailbox. It's very large, so no concern about large items or if it'll hold all my mail. The clip for out going mail is tucked inside the mail slot which keeps it out of plain site and the weather. But it won't hold very many envelopes. Thankfully, I rarely have anything going out. I would definitely recommend this mailbox.

I absolutely love this mailbox!! It is massive and heavy! My husband built the framing using 6x6 posts for reference!

This is a strong well built mailbox. I had a big mailbox before that had been hit and warped. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of this one. I like the fact that it locks packages can’t be crammed into it

We purchased two of these units. These mailboxes come with the locking combination set at "000". A small device is included that is to be inserted into a small hole when you line a button up with the hole in in order to set your own code. However, no matter how we tried no "button" appeared when we lined up the hole. After a number of people tried to get this to work, I took apart the locking mechanism and found that the "hole" the button is supposed to pop through was installed upside down! Therefore, the hole never lined up with the button. Both units were done like this!! Very poor-quality control. The locking mechanism has like eight parts that if you don't put back together exactly right, they don't work at all. So, we returned them. NOT WORTH THE AGGREVATION. We purchased a simple locking key replacement mailbox. It's too bad because the mailbox itself is well constructed. However, the code locking mechanism is very flimsy and would have been a problem even if they had installed it correctly.

The price was terrific and the quality very good. The clip for outgoing Mail could be tighter but otherwise great mailbox!
