These lights seem flimsy but took some manhandling while I installed them. Was sure I broke one or two but they worked fine when I finally had them up.They are considerably brighter than I thought they’d be and really add a lot of illumination to the garage area.I installed them about 9’ off the ground. Recommended.

This is my first review for a product that I have now ordered 3 times! Ok, enough about that. These LED fixtures are one of Amazon's best buys! Yes, they appear to be a bit flimsy - but they are bright and versatile! I have mounted a few using brackets - but most of my are mounted hanging. They only pull about 1/4 the amperage that a twin bulb fluorescent fixture pulls. So you can install 4 of these very bright LED fixtures - and consume just about the same electricity as a 2 bulb 4' fluorescent fixture! My first purchase was about 10 months ago with no failures. In conclusion, the included switch, plug-in power cord, compatible to daisy-chaining, & easy mounting and great price make this a great buy!

Great shop lights. Comes in a set of 4. They’re very lightweight and easy to mount. They’re durable and work well. They came super fast. Was supposed to come after Christmas but arrived before Christmas Eve.

when the box arrived, I was surprised how small the box was and how light it was for containing 4 led shop lights. They were well packed for shipping, arrived in perfect condition and with all the brackets and chains needed to hang. Real easy to hang, as they are so light weight and the plug and play feature was fantastic. They are much brighter than my old florescent shop lights too. Great lights for a great price.

These lights exceeded my expectations! They’re much brighter than I anticipated, with a compact size and lightweight design that made installation a breeze. Hanging them up in the shop was simple, and the linkable connections added incredible convenience. This purchase was a no-brainer , I’ll definitely buy again!

A Perfect Lighting Solution! Comes in a 4-pack to handle most any lighting needs. The fixtures have two integrated non replaceable LED tubes. Plenty of light output in a pleasant, natural color. The included chains, hooks, screws/inserts and spring clamps make for simple hanging and surface mount options.I had two old school double tube fluorescent fixtures that were replaced by these new LED fixtures. These LED’s put out so much more useable light due to the open nature of the fixtures and new technology that I turned one off (with the attached handy on/off switch) because it was too bright!Only one knock to note. The spring clips are so low profile they will only clip on if the screw heads are *exactly* centered over the screw holes for a slide on mount. See attached pic.Best bet is to accurately layout the screw center to center locations on the ceiling and just slide it on via the available slotted mounting method.A winner of a product at a very attractive price point!

This is the best deal I've found anywhere for 4 ft LED lights! Ultra simple design and easy to install. Very white light but not that dreary blue white. Plug them in to test them all out real quick Make sure they worked and they throw a lot of light! Trying to find an excuse to buy some more at this price point. These will make a great portable work light as well.

Highlights:• Super light weight• Super easy to install (light weight + supplied hardware)• Super bright and efficient• Linkable -outlet in the end to plug in the next lightFirst impression- how could this possibly be a box of four lights? Is it an empty box? Is it just the bulbs? They seemed super flimsy and unsubstantial. After installing them, that impression has changed.I have them installed flush to the 9' ceiling of my two car garage workshop. The ceiling is white painted stipple textured drywall. The texture makes it near impossible to find a joist with any kind of stud finder, but it doesn't matter with these, the super light-weight of these and the super simple metal clips they supply means it's a breeze to install on drywall- or anything that'll hold a screw. There are plastic anchors supplied too, but I used my preferred #8 Toggler Alligator anchors, with the supplied screws and clips (I like these anchors in drywall because you can drill the hole with the #8 screw- just drive it through the drywall, over-tighten it to "strip it out" and pull it back out- it creates the perfect size hole to tap the anchor into without having to use a drill and the right drill bit- and they hold great, won't pull out with the screw in it without taking it a chunk of drywall).I have to mention the supplied hardware again, because it's so rare any of it is worth a damn. These came with chains and hooks, and "tea cup" screw hooks for suspending them, and metal clips for flush mounting with decent flat head screws and plastic hollow wall anchors. I used the flush mount clips and they worked flawlessly. I was going to just use pan head sheet metal screws with the slots in the ends of the lights, but the clips mean the spacing is less critical, up to say an inch or so. You can just install one, clip in the light and eyeball the second, mark it and install it- without measuring ( unless of course you want it square / perpendicular / parallel or something...)I have a couple Hyper Tough Walmart shop lights which I think are rated at 3300 lumens, and two older T8 fluorescent ones. These are not only substantially brighter than both of those, but they distribute light much more evenly. The open tube with no reflector means my ceiling is the reflector, which works great. The plastic tube is slightly frosted so you don't see the individual LEDs like you do on the Walmart fixtures, so it's easier on the eyes. I don't mean pretty though- they look like old old school bare tube industrial lighting, and the daylight 5500k is, well, like daylight. But it's great for seeing what I'm working on.I've got them daisy chained as far as the cord will reach, which is about 54”. I have four in a 20x20 two car garage. It's plenty for general illumination, but for really even illumination for woodworking without dim areas and shadows, I could use another four, but the roll up door would block them when it's open.If I had any gripes about them, it would be the cord length. They'd be better with at least 6' cords, and nearly perfect with swappable cords, and accessory cord packs available in a few lengths. Not just for wider fixture spacing, but to get it to the power source without an extension cord. It worked out for me, as I have a center outlet for my garage door opener, and I have them plugged into a wireless remote switched Christmas light plug. If I had a little more length, I could have used lightbulb to outlet adapters and used the existing wall switch. The cord length limited spacing works on a workshop, bit I think longer spacing would work in a shed or storage area for general illumination.Bottom line: Great purchase. I got them on a lightning deal, but I'd easily pay full price for them any day. You need these if you need brighter, more even light in your workshop, garage, basement, shed, etc and and don't want to spend a fortune or have extension cords tacked up all over the place. These VS 4' florescent ship lights- If you've used or are using multiple florescent shop light fixtures and have tried to link several into an existing wall switch, you may have found that the wall switch or breaker couldn't handle the in-rush current of all the ballasts being switched on at the same time. These have no such ballast, and won't overload a 15A breaker or switch. These are less than 200w total load for four (says 36w in one place, 42 elsewhere here). The light quality and appearance is similar to a cool white florescent, and probably a lot brighter. There's also no glass to shatter if you bump them with something, and they won't burn out at the rate florescent tubes do- so no boxes of tubes to store and no spent bulbs to dispose of.
