Very bright, great color, and simple installation. My only complaint, and it is minor, is the screws they include are so weak they strip very easily. But once installed, they hold the clips, which hold the lights, very well.

I was pretty skeptic about these lights but they were recommended so I gave them a shot, mostly because the price was so low. I am very happy I did. These lights are very bright perfect for my garage work shop. They are also very very easy to install and easy to move around. The look good and have multiple sizes (I went with the four foot 6 pack) they have multiple ways to install too. You can chain them all together in a a lot of different ways, you can string them together with a cord that is around 3 feet long or chain them together right next to each other with a small adapter. They also come with enough cords to use them all by themselves. Also comes with the option to hard wire them or use a plug or any way to mix and match how ever you want.

I'd probably give these lights 5 stars, but having used them for about 2 years they began to fail, one by one. It's not the end of the world considering the price point, and how easy they are to replace, I chalked it up to a wash.Pros:-Seem to be the best price point around-They are incredibly easy to install/replace-They put out some serious light. A 6 pack were more than enough to illuminate every inch of my 800 sq ft shop-They are physically durable. One was dropped from about 8 ft during installation and was no worse for wear, a few others have taken a licking from a stray 10 ft piece of lumber or raft oar and seemed just fine.-I haven't done any draw testing, but my power bill was noticeably less than when I had the 4 traditional bulbs running.Cons:-Unsure if I received a bad batch initially or what, but each unit began failing after about 2 years, one by one. The final unit failed almost 3 years on the day to when I first installed them. Again, at this price point, I chalk it up to changing a lightbulb and call it a day.-Individual diodes seem to begin failing prior to the entire unit failing, which can cause flickering for a few weeks before hand. It wasn't very noticeable, but just worth noting.Overall great lights, and again, lights that I purchased again to replace the existing set once they began failing, just thought it was worth mentioning.

In a nutshell - These lights offer an affordable, powerful, easy and energy-efficient lighting solution, especially well-suited for spaces like garages, workshops, and sheds. With straightforward assembly and a high lumen output, these lights are an economical, practical choice for many indoor applications. However, there are a few minor drawbacks that you should consider.Further details..Each light produces 5000 lumens, has a wide 270-degree angle, and consumes only 40W of power, making it a cost-effective and more durable alternative to traditional fluorescent tubes. They’re also very easy to assemble/install. The lights come with all necessary accessories, including power cords with on/off switches, hardwiring options, and connecting cables that allow for up to six lights to be linked in series. This reduces installation time and effort, making the setup process smooth and hassle-free. They also include some connections with wire splices to make a longer cord, which I did to span the width of my shed so I could link 3 lights on either side with each other. While the lights themselves are fairly sturdy, especially compared to traditional fluorescent tubes, some care should be taken to ensure you don’t bend or twist them overtly, which could break them.Feature SummaryBrightness: 5000 lumens per lightPower Consumption: 40W per unitBeam Angle: 270 degreesInstallation Options: Hardwiring and power cord with on/off switchConnectivity: Easily link up to 6 lights in seriesIncluded Accessories: Power cords, hardwiring kits, connecting cables, small connectors, installation manualFinal Thoughts Overall, the Barrina LED Shop Light is a reliable, bright, and energy-efficient option that offers excellent value for its price. Its ease of assembly and versatility make it a great choice for various indoor lighting needs. I used them to light up my large tent shed, and it now looks great - day or night, and only took me under 30 minutes to get it all setup. If you need an affordable, easy lighting solution, these LED shop lights are definitely worth considering. They also go on sale occasionally. I was able to pick up a six pack on sale for $99.99 (29% savings) which worked out to $16.67/light which is a great deal!

2 out of the 6 LED units in the package stopped working in less than 1 month. I have them wired in 3 sets of 2. Other than this failure, the product itself is great: super bright, easy to wire/install/chain per your own use case. The units are very lightweight making it relatively easy to install in practically any situation. I just wish the reliability was better. I have contacted the seller for a resolution and plan to update this review following that.UPDATE:: The seller has replaced the defective units and proved that they stand by their products. With this amazing customer support I have confidently upgraded the rating to 5 stars (from 3). Thank you!

Those are great, easy to install. One draw back, need to be unplugged otherwise the LEDs stay barely on.

I ordered two sets of these. Put one set of six up in my garage, and two strips in my laundry room. The hardwire pigtail they include isn't to Canadian electrical code, so I didn't use it. Ended up putting a single outlet box into the ceiling with two plugs to run two strips of three off the supplied plug leads. This makes them legally temporary lights in case there's ever an issue with a home inspection or whatever. The hardwire is fine, you could marrette it into a standard electrical wall box, but a proper electrician would probably take issue with that. That being said, the lights are good quality, the cables aren't copper but are easy to work with and seem fine for the use case. The lights are incredibly bright. Each strip feels like 100W equivalent or so. The light is just above the 6000k daylight spectrum, but no discernable blue. Makes waxing the car in the garage much easier to see. They've been on at least ~20 hours now over a few days. No flickering, no dead leds, almost cold to the touch. The options included to string them together are really appreciated. Appreciate also they give both a hardwire lead and a plug lead for each individual strip. The two small things I would say don't affect use or quality, but to me the screws they supply are a tad short. I know they hold next to no weight but I swapped them for proper wood screws and anchors where needed. The other thing is the metal brackets they supply feel fairly sharp on the sides. I felt like holding them to stop them spinning while screwing them in, they might slice my fingers if they spun in my hand, so ended up wearing a glove while mounting the brackets.Overall very happy with the product. I'll try and do an edit to this review in six months or a year about how they're fairing.Would buy again so far.

The front of my garage has a dark area, not well lit , because of the 16' door and no clearance for regular hanging shop lights. When the door is open it's fine but not when closed. I ordered the 6 pack of lights and used 4 of them with 2 as spares since some reviews say they don't last long. What else is new ? None of the leds I have seem to last as long as 'they' say they will. Anyway, I mounted them 4' apart on the roof trusses above door and used 3 clips each as some people said the clips seemed flimsy but I don't think they are and could have used 2 clips per light. The connecting wires between lights is way too short and not 4 ' so I cut one in half and a connector off one other and spliced them together. They give you plenty of wiring in this set, one for each led strip, even if it is too short along with 6 really short stubbies to wire straight to electrical box which went right into the trash. The project turned out great , plenty of BRIGHT light. I wired them to a switched outlet and don't plan on using them every time I'm in the shop SO hopefully they'll last when I do need that extra light up front. I looked at other options like those hexagon things and modifying the mounting on big box store led shop lights but I chose this and am happy with it. The install was great but it would have been nice to have longer between light wiring in the box.

There are a number of very similar LED shop lights on Amazon. It is always a challenge to know which have the best quality and customer support if things go wrong. We bought a box of six of these 8 foot LED shop lights for our 24 foot by 24 foot garage. We use our garage for building projects and auto repair, so the lights needed to be bright. We were prepared to buy twice as many lights if necessary. It wasn't necessary and the garage now has a bright, even light.Installation was easy. Some have complained about the clips being too weak. They are thin metal, but the lights are also very light weight, so using the four clips per light appear to be just fine. This Barrina kit comes with more accessories than many similar LED shop light kits which was very handy. Some have complained that the pigtails for permanent wiring are too short. They are pretty short, but they worked perfectly for our application. We installed 3 rows of 2 lights per row - connecting together the 2 lights in a given row. We used single gang, blue old-work boxes to power each row of lights. To make the perfect face plate, use a coax video face plate with the coax connector removed. The pigtail runs through the center hole with enough room inside to connect it to the Romex. The kit comes with 4 foot power cords that can be used to connect two lights. The cords are higher quality than what we thought that we would get based on the pictures on Amazon. We wanted two foot cords without bunching up the wire for a more clean installation look. It turns out that you can buy these mickey-mouse end type cables (so called because of the three circular connectors) on Amazon in various lengths. We used Amazon ASIN: B077GVTV9Q. Curiously, the 2 foot lengths are not currently shown as they were last week, but the 1 foot, 4 foot, 6 foot and 8 foot are listed. Search for "double end connector for T8 LED integrated LED tube".We also tried another brand of LED shop light that had "twice as many LEDs in double rows" and rated at 120W instead of 72W. We thought that they would be better because we really wanted the brightest light. Turns out that those lights do not live up to the advertising. There are twice as many LEDs, but the LEDs are smaller and the bulbs are no brighter than the Barrina bulbs. Using a Watt meter the other bulbs only drew 68 Watts. Also their color was more blue which isn't what we wanted. These Barrina lights draw exactly 72 Watts as advertised and are a really nice color - not too blue and not too red. However, we couldn't find any indication of UL listing on either brand. One of the Barrina LED lights arrived with a defective pixel. We contacted the seller and they responded amazingly fast - within an hour on the weekend. They went out of their way to make the situation right and exceeded my expectations. Very impressed. We ended up buying another box of six 8 foot lights to put in my son-in-laws woodworking shop. That is perhaps the best indication of how well these lights worked for us.Best lights. Best accessories. Best customer service. We highly recommend these lights from Barrina.
