I generally like hygger for budget equipment. However I am a bit disappointed with this cooling fan. It’s louder than some others I’ve used and nowhere near as powerful. The buttons are hard to press without holding onto the fan with your other hand.If you have an aquarium smaller than 20 gallons and you only need to take the tank down a few degrees, this will likely still work for you.I think a fair price is around $25.

I recently purchased this chiller fan with high hopes that it would help keep my aquarium cooler. While it initially didn't meet my expectations in terms of performance, I must say that the customer service was fantastic. They were incredibly responsive and helpful when I reached out with my concerns, and they promptly replaced the fan. The new fan works great now! The airflow is much stronger, and I've noticed a significant drop in temperature, which is exactly what I needed. The fan is still a bit noisy, but it’s now effective at keeping my tank cool, and I’m very pleased with the results. I’m grateful for the excellent customer service and will continue to shop with them in the future.

Fan is working yet, but I don't like the following points so far: a) light worked for a day or two only, just now is not working anymore. b) The buttons on fan are stiff and require significant force to press. This can cause instability in the unit when it's already installed on the aquarium. c) The set up interface is not much friendly. It is not clear how to set up the target temperature. Despite the aforementioned, the fan manages to reduce the temperatura of the aquarium in 2 or 3 degrees Celsius working in the standard mode of operation.

Useless light part, fan itself is great. I have it on my tank different since I already have a lot of things on the sides. But made it work and it has been cooling my tank really great.

This does seem to help a little, I have noticed a 1-2 degree temp drop when I am running it. If you have a very hot summer or a warm room but need a cool tank, this really helps. It blows the hot air away from the water and helps it to stay cool and regulated. I use this in conjunction with a chiller so my chiller doesnt have to work as hard.
