I ordered 5 of these curtain rods 24 - 48" and they arrived very well packed and everything needed to hang them was included. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened all 5 boxes and not one of them was damaged. I had to return 3 curtain rods from a different company because they arrived very poorly packaged and damaged. These look lovely and I am very pleased with them. They match all our lights that are also in oil bronze.

It is pretty. But some definite issues.There is no built-in way to secure the central extender piece to the two outer pieces with end caps. So, unless you do something to secure it, every time you push drapes or curtains back forth, the end pieces slide away. Do that often enough, and they will slide right off. So, when installing these, you need one person to install the drapes on one end and another to stabilize the other end.Second, the mounting brackets are just not up to the job for holding the weight of drapes for this wide a window. My window is 97 inches wide. I have one set of 40" by 87" lined cotton panels and two sets of about 50" x 87" sheers on the rod. The panels set to the side rather than close across the middle. The single arm of the fixtures literally collapsed under the weight of these pieces. So imagine if the drapes were more substantial fabrics and were meant to close across the entire length of the rod.What we did:Purchase heavier-duty support fixtures at a local hardware store. I did not want to return this rod as it matches several other that I had bought previously. One other window had the same width, but I had just installed the rod on the original heavy-duty fixtures that were already there so didn't know what would happen when I installed this one with the accompanying fixtures.Early this year, I discovered "Hugo"s Amazing Tape" on Shark Tank. With some creative figure-8ing around the center support, the rods are stabilized at the desired length, so far.So, final thoughts: pretty rod, mediocre engineering.Would I buy again? I don't know.

We ordered 2 of these to hang curtains in 2 rooms. One we installed right away. It was easy to install and had all the parts we needed. The other sat in its box for many months until we got around to installing it. When we did open it up, one of the finials on the end was shattered. It was months past the return deadline and so we installed it without that end piece. But I contacted H. Versailtex with my order number to see if I could purchase an additional part and they were extremely nice and sent it to me. So in brief, a good product at a reasonable price and better than good service to go with it!
