A blower motor resistor is the electric component that controls your vehicle HVAC system’s fan speed. Usually it is mounted underneath the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle, If your car’s HVAC system is not working properly, it could be due to a faulty blower motor resistor. If it fails, your system may only work on certain speeds or not at all. At this time, you need to replace a new resistor to get your air conditioning system working again.

Blower Motor Resistor Location
- In most modern vehicles, the blower motor resistor or control module is located inside the vehicle behind the passenger side of the dashboard. It is installed inside one of the ducts of the HVAC system, close to the blower motor.
- Therefore, we suggest that you also replace the blower while replacing the resistor.

No issues. Already forgotten what the issue was. I think no fan blowing. Further tests indicated this relay. Replaced. Fan works. Done.
