A blower motor resistor is the electric component that controls your vehicle HVAC system’s fan speed. Usually it is mounted underneath the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle, If your car’s HVAC system is not working properly, it could be due to a faulty blower motor resistor. If it fails, your system may only work on certain speeds or not at all. At this time, you need to replace a new resistor to get your air conditioning system working again.

Blower Motor Resistor Location
- In most modern vehicles, the blower motor resistor or control module is located inside the vehicle behind the passenger side of the dashboard. It is installed inside one of the ducts of the HVAC system, close to the blower motor.
- Therefore, we suggest that you also replace the blower while replacing the resistor.
- Please compare your old resistor, check the product appearance and part number to make sure this is the correct part you need!

I replaced my old one with this. So far so good but I have learned to be cautious about high praise for these sort of items. For now I have no reason to five star it but you can bet the farm I'll downgrade that in a second if needed, and I will actually follow through.

This is a good quality product.easy to install just have to remove the panel below the glovebox.if your fan control switch is not working right it’s probably this . Great product for the money
