Pens are fragile. The caps and pocket clips fall off - choking hazard for children. Some ink tubes are dry.

Unfortunately part of the order, 2 of the 12 pens, were broken and would not function. You can see the difference in the 2 broken ones vs the one pictured that is not broken.

These pens are great for having several different colors in one. We include them in our Operation Christmas Child boxes. They seems pretty well made and are super fun for kids. I think they would also be great in a prize box.

I know that sounds like a big criticism, but when you buy bulk pens for students you expect a couple of duds. Pens dry up -- it's a fact of life. Of the 23 pens only one had a problem and it was only with one color. That is a failure rate of only 1 in 138 total colors (each pen is 6 colors, 6 x 23=138). I consider that more than acceptable, especially at this price.
