Best pens ever! They write so smoothly, and I am a lefty and the ink dries so quickly that there is no ink smear on my left hand. I use the .7 and 1.0, both wonderful. Obsessed with these pens, I give them to those I care about as a token of love!

Always make sure you have cheap pens to lend to people as you will never get these back. They are that good. Smooth, clean and do not smear like others.

Like many others, I bought these because the Wirecutter loves them. I'm glad I did. They write easily, the ink just glides onto the page with little pressure. I think I've just found my new pen.

I’m not a heavy writer nor do I have much experience in pens beyond what I can grab out of the office pen holder, but with that being said, this is a fine option.Since I’ve had it (about 4 months) I haven’t had any trouble with it. No skipping at all and it’s still going strong. It’s extremely lightweight which I wasn’t expecting and although I would have preferred a heavier pen, I understand this is much better if you write a significant amount.Overall solid choice with some smooth writing.

As someone who takes a lot of notes while they play video games, this pen goes above and beyond for notebook writing and just every day use.I need to highlight certain things I write down every morning at my job. It dries super fast and never smudges. Even under a super wet highlighter.It's comfortable to hold, they're pretty cheap, they're super smooth, and almost never skip on that first letter when you start writing.

I grabbed the Uniball Jetstream RT 3 Pack in 0.7mm Fine Black because Wirecutter said they're the top dogs, and man, they weren't kidding. These pens are legit and totally worth the five stars.Writing with these is a dream. They just glide on paper, making everything I write look way smoother. Whether it's keeping my agenda in check or spilling my guts in my journal, these pens make the process a breeze.The ink is the real MVP here – it comes out super consistent, no skips or globs, and dries fast enough that I don't end up smudging anything. And since I'm not left-handed, smudging is usually a non-issue, but it's nice not having to worry about it at all.I'm also digging the design. They feel good to hold, not like those pens that cramp your style (and your hand). Plus, they're clicky pens, so no caps to lose and no random ink stains in my bag. They feel sturdy, too, not like they're gonna fall apart after a week.Using these pens for my agenda and journal has been a total upgrade. It's not just about the smooth writing; it's knowing every time I click one of these bad boys, it's gonna work no problem. Seriously, if you need a pen that won't let you down and makes your handwriting look good, these Uniball Jetstreams are the way to go. Wirecutter nailed it with this recommendation.

I know these pens are highly reviewed but I've always been a little skeptical. I tend to prefer the smooth way gel pens write and always feel like ballpoints are much less impressive or satisfying to write with. That said there are times/surfaces when ballpoint ink writes better, and the ink tends to last longer than gel and I like to carry one in my bag just in case.I tried a jetstream rt pen a few years ago that I got at a japanese dollar store. I had heard about them on wirecutter and wondered what all the hype was about. It worked fine but was nothing all that special and I kind of dismissed them from then on.These were on sale for black friday and I needed some new ballpoints for my bag so I gave them another try.When I opened the package today and tried it out, I was initially a little underwhelmed. The lines on my first couple letters weren't smooth; it was a typical ballpoint experience for me.But then I kept writing and the ink quickly started to flow like it's supposed to. I was surprised at how smooth it felt and how it glided across the page. The feel was similar to the really satisfying feel of writing with my favorite gel pens and after those first couple of letters the lines have looked really smooth, too.I can't speak to the long-term performance of these yet, but the ink is bold enough and it feels really good to write with, so at this point I'm much more impressed than I expected to be. These feel good enough to write with that I can see myself reaching for it in regular situations, not only in "just-in-case" backup situations.Summary:- Took a couple of penstrokes for it to "warm-up" and lines to become smooth- Tactile feel of writing is very smooth and akin to writing with a gel-pen- Ink is bold and smooth (after that brief initial warm-up) and closer to the bold color of a gel pen than the typical ballpoint- I like it! I'm glad I gave it another chance.
