I didn't notice any quality issues and the fan runs pretty quiet. It has a whine if you just plug it in and hold it, but the whine goes away once you assemble it and have it under a load. Would be nice to be adjustable, but features match the price.

This doubles the cubic feet per minute of the similar products of same diameter that I searched online. Great for my exhaust duct in my basement blowing out cooking smoke that escapes my range hood and accumulates under my ceiling.Highly recommended.

I use these for everything! I love them, I attached long flexable hoses to them and use them for cleaning or painting or anything smelly and they work great!

This fan has a plastic housing which is good, as it stays cool during operation, and dropped the temps in the room from 80 down to 68 overnight, and kept it at a comfortable 73 during the day.Sadly that fan did not have a good connection of the fan blade to the motor shaft and it broke after just a few days, thus prompting the purchase of a fan with better construction.While it worked, it worked great.

Product arrived 3 days ahead of schedule. So far working as advertised. Very quiet fan.Will see over time whether it succeeds in its intended purpose of venting moisture out of unused metal chimney.

Perfect for my purpose. Slips perfectly into a five inch conduit.But if you are looking for medium or high CFM - it’s about the same sucking/blowing power of a microwave fan. It moves air… but it’s not going to clear your room.And loud. For a small fan I was surprised how loud it is. Rattling and mechanical whining. You couldn’t sleep in a room where this was running.So if you can get away with a bathroom fan you will get more CFM and it will be much quieter. I just really needed the shape and size with the ability to plug into a socket and not have to do any wiring.

I bought this to attach to an old dryer exhaust that was left in my basement. I just wanted to slide it onto the existing piece but it is an exact match in size so I thought I could get one of those PVC coupling connectors, or even a flexible one with clamps.The problem is that this piece, is just UNDER 4 inches...and everything in the PVC plumbing world was just OVER 4 inches so nothing would work.Not even in the ventilation section of lowes could I find anything that would actually go around this. Therefore I think this is meant solely for the foil-type of tubing that can be compressed down by clamps.I ended up buying an aluminum connector piece but I had to cut the connection first and open it up a little wider to actually fit around this.The fan isn't as powerful as I'd hoped it would be, but I wasn't expecting it to be super powerful.

I use this fan for my 2 by 2 grow tent it works well A lot of people were saying this fan ended up quitting on them but I’m guessing those people didn’t realize a speed controller is a must with this fan of course it will break if your running it 12-24 hours at a time on full blast it’s not meant for that but overall this fan has lasted as long as I expected and caused no problems But yea get a speed controller and I guarantee you won’t have many issues

Item has no durability. didn't make it a week running 24/7. seemed quiet enough and the airflow met expectations. just didnt work.
