The connector pins push in when you try to plug in the connector. I took the lens off and released one of the led boards to fish the pins into the connector then had to glue the lens back on. I also had to cut off the pins on the turn signal wires off and crimp on new pins and pin a connector to make the turn signals plug in instead of hardwired. If you aren’t mechanically inclined don’t buy this light.

I went through a few tail lights to find the right fit for my 2006 Kawasaki Ninja; finally, I found this tail light on Amazon. Not sure what to expect, yet it was a very install with a swap plug and play. Looks good. And for the price, one can't complain.

JUNK! When I first got it, it looked good. I plugged it in to make sure it worked before installation, and t worked great. Installed it, and it would not work at all. The contacts on the plug on the light pushed in and would not insert into the bike plug after the first time I plugged it in. At first glance it looks like a great product, but stay away!!! DONT BUY THIS!!!
