This is built from a solid piece of steel must weight 2-4 lbs. The Light is LED and very bright. No worries with this for a chopper/bobber project if you like a solid heavy duty steel part.

This tail light is made strong, with thick heavy metal. Wire in was easy. Great bang for the buck.

Apparently these bolts were not tightened out of the back and came loose on 1st ride and broke the light. Overall the product seems solid. I wish I would have checked them and maybe added lock washers or loctite.

I am more than happy with the product durability and function. After reading all of the negative reviews about this item it just reaffirmed the fact that some people just shouldn't attempt any sort of mechanical installation. I spent the extra 39 cents at the hardware store for a couple of nylon lock nuts and applied a drop of thread lock on the small studs for the light and nothing has come loose.

I really liked the retro brake light on the back of cx500 seat hoop. I mounted it with adele electrical clamps, but am currently looking for a nice mount bracket. I used the plate holder on my lower shock mount. Working good. The quality is nice heavy gauge metal and the finish is clean. Light is plenty bright. And goes brighter when brake applied.

Put this light on my honda shadow. The wiring was pretty straight forward. Quality material and not made of plastic. The light it LED with a glass lens while the rest of the construction is maybe a steel/aluminum material. Would buy again š
