This is a cal hypo shock! Nowhere on the outside of the box does it state this. It wasn’t until after I used did I see it on the bag.My pool surface is potentially etched from this. There should be a warning on the box and it should clearly state it’s cal hypo.

This product is ok in a pinch, but it will not stand up against temperatures above 90. Be prepared to use the entire box at one time. The level of chlorine protection is about 50% versus going to your local pool supply store and purchasing a higher quality brand.
