Fits and works perfectly in our 17 inch HP Laptop. I watched a YouTube video on how to access the battery, it was very easy. Took maybe 15 to 20 minutes to remove the back of the laptop, remove the old battery, and replace it with this new one, and put it all back together. This kit came with the tools needed. The included plastic pry tools made it so easy to remove the backing after removing all the screws.The battery charges up quickly and lasts as long as the old one did when it was new. Only time will tell on this batteries longevity, but so far we are very happy with it.

I was skeptical if a new battery would help my old laptop (HP Pavilion 15-cw1063wm). I ran a benchmark test streaming a movie and playing it on the laptop. The old battery lasted about 1h 20m. This new batter lasted 3h 30 min. Well over 2x the play time. Is it the absolute best battery? Who can say. What I can say is that I can now use my laptop for school without carrying around a charging cable. For the roughly $20 price, this is a definite thumbs up. And changing out the battery was very easy. Five stars!
