· Do Discharge the new battery use to 5%(not to 0%) and then charge to 95%, and cycle 3-4 times.

My laptop battery kept a max battery life of 5.5 hrs. Maybe 6 if I had battery saver settings. So I decided to replace it with this "offbrand" battery and now my max battery life is 4.5 hrs lmao!!!! I was better off with my original battery. I'm too lazy to take it apart and put the old one back in so I'll wait till I buy an "Original" replacement battery from hp. FYI an original battery is like 80-100. So I can see why people would buy this one, a fraction of the price but imo NOT WORTH IT.

The battery fit my laptop perfectly. There are Youtube videos that show how to open your laptop and swap out the battery. Don't be afraid, you can do it! The battery came with a mini tool kit, which was a thoughtful addition. I didn't need it, but some people will.This same battery is sold under several brand names, so just go with the one with the best price.Who knows how long it will last? But for now, my laptop is running much longer off of the cord.
