The ink colors are good, just be careful using the carving tools, they are some sharp but needed extra force to made them slide properly. Is a little puzzle to get everything back into the box , LOL

Purchased this for my granddaughter who is very artistic ... and she wanted to make stamps. She loved the set but said none of the tools were small enough for really good details. We'll have to find additional small tools.

I just started doing stamp carving, and while this set was great to get started with, I quickly found that the tools provided were way too large to cut as detailed as I wanted to. These can do chunky shapes just fine but I would recommend getting a set of finer tipped tools in addition once you figure out how to use them.

I got this set for my 13yo to test out stamp carving. It does have all the items needed. I like that it has such a nice variety of ink pads. The tools are completely useless. I thought perhaps it was her, but I tried it and they just aren't sharp enough to cut through the rubber material. We watched a couple of videos hoping it was just the angle we were holding them at. No dice. They just aren't up to the task. This seems like a nice set but it just isn't functional.

This is a pretty decent set for beginners. It has most of what you need to test out if you like stamp carving as a hobby. However, I had some issues with it. The tools were all pretty big for the size of block included. It would be almost impossible to get the level of detail pictured in the listing with the tools provided unless you were working with a much larger block. I also thought the tools weren't quite as sharp or sturdy as they should've been. They were quite a bit more difficult to use than typical block carving tools in my opinion.I also think the inks are a nice addition if you're doing this for a hobby, but they're not very good quality if you're making actual prints or anything like that.Overall, decent hobby set, but it has enough flaws that I think it's only 3 stars.
