This brayer is fantastic to add to my collection. I'm starting to use my gel plate more and more often, and this helps me with the base application of paint, and the final application. Also, I sometimes need a dry brayer to roll over my paper to make sure it absorbs everything from the gel plate onto the paper. I use it all the time!

I make gelli printed papers all the time - this smaller brayer is very useful when I want to combine colors, or use smaller amounts of paint.

I like most Tim Holtz Ranger products but this one is an exception. I bought it because It was significantly cheaper than the other leading brand. However, after using it a few times and comparing it to the other leading brand which I also own, I've decided I'd rather spend the extra money and get a much better product. In my opinion, the only nice feature of this brayer is that it detaches from its base and is easier to clean than other brayers that don't. Other than that, I find it uncomfortable to hold and the roller part is much thinner than the other brand's so I feel like it can't gather up as much paint on it.While I appreciate that it has its own built-in stand, the little plastic ends sometimes fall off, and then I have to hunt them down. Also, I think the stand makes it harder to use.I will continue to buy other Ranger products, but will not be buying any more of their brayers.

I can't attest to actual use at this time. How well it works for you depends on material you're using it with, your technique as well as skill level. It looks to be a higher quality than some I've seen at a much higher price for sure.As to this brayer falling apart on use. I don't how that's possible unless you bent and spread the holder handle so far apart the roller falls out. The axle the roller spins on is all the way through the roller. And heavy enough a guage it's not going to bend easy. The plastic inserts the rubber roller itself are inserted with are in there pretty dang tight.Unless you jumped up and down on it and threw it at the wall using a sling shot maybe, I don't see how it's possible to just fall apart with simple use.If holding it properly the handle squeezes together slightly holding the roller on even more so... ???Clean up should be like any other brayer out there.I do like the feet, it makes it nice when in use and should keep the roller from getting a flat spot when stored. This brayer does have a small diameter rubber roller to it. But a nice one to have in the tool pouch. If the seller has another larger diameter in this size, I wouldn't hesitate to order one of those as well.I've posted pics of what comes to you in the mail. It arrived pretty dang quick given its coming from out of the country and I ordered just prior to Christmas.I'm happy with the purchase, I think you will be too if this is the size brayer you're looking for.Cheers...

Worked so well in rolling acrylic paint over stencils and on small gel plates. Cleans up well too! Love the little feet so that I can keep paint on brayer when I want, without smearing.

The small size works well with my Gel plate and to fill in with some areas.I use this with alcohol inks and acrylic paints.

This is a great little brayer/roller. Works great on smaller projects. I used it for a lino print for a 4" x 6" block - and worked perfect. Easy to hold and maneuver. Also easy to clean.

I already had one of these and needed another one for using multiple paint/ink colors. They clean up well, and you can buy replacement rollers at a great price. One of the best ways to get ink or paint onto a larger rubber or acrylic stamp. Highly recommend sellers and their products.
