I was so tired of running out of colored ink that I didn’t need so I wanted just a black and white printer. This printer is really fast and quality is great.

We have a business and I bought this to substitute for my old HP 1320. It works ok but it tends to jam when using labels which are a bit glossy. It also seams to go to sleep if it hasn't been used for a few minutes. Then it takes awhile to print a new document. You think something was wrong with communication so you hit PRINT again and in maybe 15 sec. it prints both.Sometimes the paper draw opens to legal size or larger paper on it's own and then you can't put it back in until you reset he drawer.Print quality and speed are fine.Much more plastic then older Office Quality HPs.

This printer is inexpensive, compact and fast. I keep seeing reviews talking about how hard the set up is. That must be from people that got their first smartphone when they were 65. There's literally two steps and the first one is plugging in the power cord. Took me maybe 5 minutes to install the software and print a test page. We'll see how it holds up over the long haul but considering I got it open-box for $75, seems like a deal.

Exactly what I needed. Not too bulky and prints very nice quality documents. Laserjet cartridges are superior to ink bc they doesn’t evaporate and the print quality is better. I like that it has a paper try that can hold a lot of paper so I don’t need to manual feed it as it prints.

Took this printer out of the box, looked at the setup guide, followed all of the instructions. Literally, all of the instructions, for every method of setup. None of them worked. HP = Huge Problem. No wonder they have so many products, they flood the market with "printers" so that people think they know what they're doing. If anything, they keep making crap that doesn't work, then still put it up for sale to fund the infinite amount of mistakes they make after that. If you buy this, and don't intend on returning it, then do yourself a favour and open the box over a dumpster.

I used a MacBook Pro to configure WiFi printing. Put paper in printer and pushed the power button. However the paper jam light stayed on. When I downloaded and ran smarthp program it would not find the printer probably because paper jam light was on. I removed the paper tray and reinserted it. This time the paper jam light was not on. I was then able to see the printer. The rest of the installation was fine. I opted to not use the hp cloud printing. The print quality, speed, and WiFi connectivity are great. Unlike my old hp printer, it’s always connected to my network. No more having to restart the printer because you can’t see it on the network.

I needed a good, basic, cheap printer that is dependable. I'm tired of inkjet printers that dry or clog up so I bought this HP Laserjet Pro on sale and it works great! I've only printed 3 pages so far but they come out lightning fast (within 5 seconds) and the text is really clear!Shipping was very fast (within 2 days)!

Printer itself works OK. Nothing fancy, BUT: there is no screen or anything on the printer to use to select a wireless network, enter a password, etc. There are just 4 plain buttons, one of which is a wifi button. It's supposed to just magically (?) connect. The setup guide that comes with the printer just says to use the HP Smart App. The app does work to connect to and manage the printer, BUT it needs to be connected to the same network as your computer in order to do that. Can't use the app to get to network settings that I need to change to connect to the network. What I ended up doing was connecting the printer to my network directly with an Ethernet cable. From there, I was able to access the built-in web server on the printer to get to wifi settings. Even that was a chore. There is an "i" button on the printer - when I pressed that, it printed a sheet of paper that had the URL for the web interface (luckily, otherwise - I wouldn't even have known there was a web interface). The web interface requires a password to login. It's printed inside the cartridge door, but nothing mentions that - I had to just Google it. Once I got the wifi network information entered, the printer connected to the network. I just added it directly in Windows (I don't like the HPSmart app)

Printer works decently, the setup was quite easy, the print quality is good and the toner page yield is fairly decent. I wish it had an inbuilt scanner. Nonetheless, I would recommend for a home office or small business. I’ve had the printer for a month but i will edit this if any changes after 6months.

Sharp images and crisp, well defined color. For the price you simply cant go wrong. After several months I am still impressed by the quality!
