Installing with my lap top was easy. So far the WIFI works fine. Print quality is fine, but the sides are a bit wonky now that the ink is getting lowish. I'm pretty impressed with the djuble side printing. And the copy function works well too. Don't know why I waited so long to replace my old Brother printer which drank ink like a drunken sailor.

This printer worked well enough for the price but the HP instant print system was awful. It billed and sent me new ink cartridges every month Even though it was supposed to use the wireless to calculate how much printing I did. I ended up with 4 cartridges piling up when I didn't need them. Then, whenever I needed to change the cartridge, two out of the six were defective. Now the printer heads will not align and on the right and left printed sides of my pages the characters are warped.Looking for my warranty to return. Expected it to last longer than this when it was mainly used as a scanner.

All this printer is capable of doing is displaying an error code and flashing lights. Even the power button doesn't work. I have to plug it in and then unplug it. USB to printer cable was missing. No instruction manual or sheet. Just flashing lights & error codes. It won't connect to anything via wi-fi or bluetooth, even using the HP Smart (ha-ha) app. Scan Doctor can't find anything to scan. I waited in the HP support queue chat line for 45 minutes after entering error codes information. When I got assistance I had to repeat the error codes. She said it was a carriage jam or unknown code. I said thank you, I'm returning this 'renewed' junk to Amazon.Amazon: whomever you contract is ripping you off.

This printer prints nicely, is easily set up, and takes up very little space. However, it is still my least favorite printer I've owned, but only because it prints EXTREMELY slowly. When I say slow, I mean you hit print and a full minute later the printer is not even half way through printing the page.. other than that it is a decent printer overall. Probably wouldn't purchase this model again, I've had other HP printers in the past and not had this issue, so I would purchase another HP just not this series.Edited to add, I’ve had this printer for almost a year now and it started printing faster after about 4 months or so.. not really sure what the issue was? Maybe bad WiFi reception? Who knows but it now functions much better.Editing again to add that over this past summer (2021) we ran out of ink and I purchased genuine HP ink and replaced the cartridges as directed and my computer shows the ink levels are full yet when I print the pages are blank? It makes all the noises like it’s printing and then there is absolutely no ink on the paper. Super disappointed in this HP printer over all.

I bought this printer and its 100x better than the DJ2752 for sure! It works perfectly!!!. For 1 thing, we can actually get the ink cartridges at the store unlike the 2752. It takes the HP65 ink, and as long as the cartridges aren't damaged, Theres no problems installing! I had an old hp 65 ink that I tried to install and it said not compatible, then put in new ones and went without a hitch... it Said genuine HP ink installed successfully, and it was good to go! The thing is, the cartridges can't be out of the package until they're installed... make sure you don't drop it or touch the spot that has the tape on it. If you do touch it after tapes removed, little bits of dust can make the cartridge not have a perfect connection with the printer. That's the only worry, but that's with anything that requires tech connections. There's sensitive stuff on computer motherboards, same goes for ink cartridges and the printers themselves. Can't touch or mess with electronic connectors, or it won't connect!Thanks for a great printer!!! Works perfectly!

Awesome printer with great functionality. The insta ink is a great price depending on how much you print and you never have to worry about running out of ink. Of course you can purchase on your own but if you print less than 15 pages a month your ink could be free. Makes complete sense and you just provide paper. Great buy!

I enjoy the printer, I am a student who uses the printer almost 24/7 and I did not want it to occupy a lot of space in my room. It does the job really well, however it does not hold a lot of paper in the paper tray, but it is a minor setback. Overall, it is functional for it's price, delievered with care, and easy to set up.The ink cartilages can also be found on Amazon for a decent price, they do NOT come with the printer! In case you were wondering.

Although I don't do a lot of printing (an occasional recipe, etc), I needed an inexpensive scanner to scan and save the 600+ letters my dad wrote to my mom during World War II. This scanner did a GREAT job, and very quickly. It would slow down only slightly after scanning for many hours in a row, but I let it rest for just a short time and it was back to normal. Cropping and other image adjusting was simple. And I LOVE the Instant Ink plans! Way better product than I expected for the small price I paid! I highly recommend. 5/16/19 New comment: Just unplugged my USB connection and went wireless. Didn't do it before cuz I thought it would eat up some of my limited data. Guess what ... it doesn't! So it's off my kitchen table and in the spare bedroom. Works perfectly and now I'm more impressed than before!
