I order this product because it makes my portable Air Conditioner vent and it fits perfectly, ease installation as well as the quality. Will order again in few months just to have a spare.

The sleeve works great at controlling and keeping in heat. The original hose that came with my Black and Decker A/C unit was about 2 feet short for where I was trying to HIDE it lol and this package deal with a hose and sleeve was exactly what I needed at a GREAT price!! In order to connect the oringinal hose and extension you will need a 5.9" coupling/connector, I found one here on Amazon for a decent price, link is pasted below. Also, as well as controlling heat, the sleeve gives it a nicer smooth look rather than a white corrugated hose, at least I thought so. I just bought my first ever portable style AC, so I didn't think the hose that comes with it would be as short as it is. So I needed to place the AC on top of a table so the hose can reach the window. So I came to Amazon right away to find a hose extension, figured out the size and thread direction, and this fit perfectly, was a good price, and included the joint part to attach this hose to the original, so I'm utilizing both hoses, and it's now long enough so I can place the AC unit back on the ground, and hose reaches the window now with extra to spare.The quality and everything looks and feels exactly the same as the original hose. It's only a different color, as this is grey and the original is white. But otherwise it's the same. So I'm glad I got this, works great

Bought two sets of hose extension. They both fit perfectly to the AC unit and was able to extend the exhaust to the desired length.The extension was really easy to connect and it even included a coupler part. That was the greatest added value for the purchase. Loved the fact that the coupler came included and was not a separate purchase.Great value for the money great quality. Totally recommend!

Bought to extend the hose of my Frigidaire portable AC. Was a snap to connect to the OEM hose and works perfectly. I liked that this comes with a coupler.

I just received this item 10/4/24. I installed it the same day as an extension to my portable A/C Unit. Everything works fine my A/C now sits on the floor as intended and the room is still ice cold lol.

Although there is a limit to how much you can extend hoses on small home AC units, this is probably the ideal maximum length. Its a good quality material and matched the original of our AC unit which is firm rather than floppy. We needed to extend the location of the AC unit we use for one of our rooms due to a piece of furniture, this worked a treat and helped alot during summer. I think it should also last quite a long time, I have had my little ac unit 10 years and the hose is of the same sort so I think maybe it'll outlast the AC unit!

Item arrived as described, needed a longer hose than the traditional 50" hose. The one I received is 83".One star off as the hose material is thinner than my OEM hose. But the metal spiral inside is still strong/stiff enough to screw on the A/C window components.
