Both of these items are great on any wood surface- they really bring out the beauty of the finish, much better than pledge-type products.

The orange oil seems to do a good job bringing back some life to wood cabinets. I used the wax on an old hifi cabinet and it did add luster (the wood was revived by the wax). So initially I was very excited about the wax. My only complaint is the wax doesn't seem to dry completely. I buffed it out after a couple of days but when you wipe the surface with your hand or a cloth it looks like it still needs buffing. So on one hand the wax really livened up the wood, but I am not happy with fact that every time I dust the surface it looks like I need to buff it out again. I would definitely not use the wax on my cabinets.

The spray is a very reliable superficial cleaner. A lot like the lemon pledge my grandmother used to use. Great scent, it’ll help with the dryness of old furniture and give them sheen. I’ve used many bottles of the wax and it’s been great. Very easy to use.

This a review for the 'Feed N Wax' Beeswax and Orange Oil product, not the Orange Oil alone. The Feed N Wax comes out like a thick, watery paste. Almost like a watered down toothpaste. It's a gold/amber color. I like the consistency as it makes it easier to control and apply. I have used it on dozens of wood surfaces like table tops, old radio cases, everything that can take oil or stain. Meaning it won't soak into a hard finish wood any more than a stain would. So I use it on raw wood that I have stripped or sanded. And with it, I never use stain! It brings out the true nature of the wood and adds a darker deeper glow. It's a great product.

Two of our table tops had started to fade, these products did a fantastic job on them.

I've used the Howard brand before. Last year I used the polish and conditioner and then followed it with a Howard stain. I used it on wooden rocking chairs that are out on our patio in Texas year round. The stain didn't really last a long time but the conditioner is really good. This year I used the Howard Orange Oil on the same rocking chairs first and it did such a good job, I didn't use the polish on it. I liked the Orange Oil so much, I ordered a gallon size bottle of it. The only problem I encountered with the spray bottle is it doesn't let you use it all and I couldn't get the lid off to use on a rag. But, it's still the best orange oil I've ever used.

The polish comes in a spray bottle so it is easy to use - it cleans and moisturizes wood. The Beeswax product really nourishes and gives new life to wood. I used both and the smell is lovely and the result is beautiful. Directions for which product to use first is not clear, nor are there clear directions about what the steel wool is for. Happily, both those questions were asked as part of the reviews so I got the answers.
