I use this to hold my large handmade ornaments. I can store them safely and keep the bow from getting mashed at the top. I especially like that the top level has a tray type enclosure with sides all the way around to keep everything in place when you lift it out. This was the main reason I purchased this particular storage box.

Exact size I needed and great value for the $$...Not sure why they limit your purchase to 4 boxes...but I had friends order some for me also to reach the 12 boxes that I needed!

I am really excited to get my ornaments out of their original broken boxes and misc bags. I bought two last year and bought 2 more this year. I was able to organize by color and theme. They are pretty sturdy - they will stack on each other, but I wouldn't suggest anything else. They will probably hold up against minimal moisture, but if major water, I would think it wouldn't hold up like a plastic bin would. I am really happy. Tried this year to go a with a cheaper but similar option for the other 2 and ended up returning because they weren't as good. The top "tray" with handles helps alot but isnt super sturdy- again, does the job and better than others. See pics for more details.

This actually was a much sturdier box than I expected. I used it to organize objects that my business produces and transport them to our buyers. It held up well, even with many trips loaded with probably 30 or more pounds. The handles did not break (though I often held it by the bottom just in case). The ability to customize the size of the slots is very nice. The only complaint which I have is that the clear window makes that side a little weaker then the other sides, so it tends to bow out a little more, but it does not cause a problem (not enough to reduce a star). Months of use (and it was not babied by any means) and it has no tears, no bends, no breaks, nothing wrong with it.

Ornament Storage BoxThis box is 4" x 4" x 4" cells arranged 3 x 6 in two layers (36 cells total) with simple cardboard partitions and cloth lining on the bottoms and shell. The design includes a handled lift-out tray which is the upper layer. Ideal for traditional 3"-4" glass ornaments and not bad for everything else. We added a layer of bubble wrap to the bottom layer and use bits of bubble wrap or tissue for multiple smaller ornaments.One big red box, plus one large generic plastic box for miscellaneous wood ornaments and saved packages, equals one 9 foot tree. Box is nicely sturdy and could stack another, but would not put anything heavy above it. Individual partitions could be left out or slots cut to re-size. The window (one side only) is a nice feature. A repeat purchase.

The box does store ornaments well and is easy to carry. However, the top shelf, which has handles that suggest you can lift it out easily is a bit misleading. The cardboard support beneath is so flimsy that the whole thing sags and loses the ornaments in a pile with the dividers floating on top. An easy fix with a large piece of sturdier cardboard works well if it's not so thick that the lid won't work. All that said, it's way better than decades-old wine boxes.
