  • 【0.5mm Thickened Spring Steel Plate】The PEI bed plate is thickened to 0.5mm, with high-strength and good flatness. It's not easy to deformation after repeating bending.

This plate fits perfectly on my A1 mini and holds securely to the magnetic base plate. It leaves a decent pattern on the bottom of the prints when I printed on it with Elegoo PLA+ filament. I did not use any adhesion promoters like glue stick and had good adhesion that was almost identical to the factory textured PEI plate I normally use.I like the honeycomb pattern the best, but the houndstooth looks nice too. This is a good plate if you want to change up the texture on the bottom of your prints and has good adhesion with PLA filament.

Plate holds PLA filament pretty well. Does self release when the temperature drops which is also a nice thing to make getting parts off easy. The texture does a nice job showing up on the bottom but do know that it does leave it with a shiny look vs an expected more matte look. Doesn't really affect the performance though so other than that, no real complaints with this.

This is a really great replacement sheet, well made and the PEI seems to be solidly applied to the sheet. I also love the patterns it gives my prints an extremely unique look without sacrificing adherence like you would with one of those holo PEY sheets.

Fantastic! Prints came out beautifully with a smooth, even pattern that transferred perfectly. The plate has a nice, glossy shine that gives the final prints a polished look. No issues with adhesion or warping, just consistently good results. Highly recommend!

I'm using this with an X1C and I do a lot of PETG printing. I was really hoping to have a good "mostly flat" metal plate as a contrast to the textured PEI plates I normally use. My main problem with this is that even with my go-to adhesives that work on all other plates and with all other filaments, I can't get PETG to stick consistently to this. It's very hit or miss and mostly a miss for me. I own about 12 other plates and this one is by far the pickiest one to work with.In addition, this says it's a 3D pattern plate but it is very, very subtle on the surface. So much so, that if you weren't told that there was a pattern, you might not even notice it was there. In contrast, I have some plates where the patterns transfer cleanly to the print and even visually "move" as you turn the print around in your hand when finished. This is definitely not one of those prints. Also, the plate seems fairly sound construction wise except for the edges. All of my other metal plates have nice, smooth edges. But this one is someone sharp and doesn't feel like they finished the edges very well. It just feels like raw metal that they stamped and didn't polish at all. I'm not going to try it, but I think if I were to rub it across my skin or rub against it the wrong way, I think it could actually break the skin and cut me. So I have to be careful handling it.And with the cost of this being about the same (or higher) than other plates I own, I really can't rate it higher than a 2. I'm not sure I will ever end up using it again as it's just too inconsistent for me to bother putting in for a print when I don't know if / how it will turn out.

I was a little disappointed at first since I had a few prints just not stick to the bed. I made sure to clean it with soap and water before using it. And I ended up needing to use glue which is not a new thing for me. I really just wanted the hound tooth texture because of trailer Park boys and I like it. The texture feels good. It transfers to prints but not as obvious as some. It's nice to have a pattern that looks smooth, but you can see the reflection of it in just the right light. I'm also using this on a 330 mm bed so it's a little smaller than I should be using, but as long as you know your print size it doesn't really matter.

This is a other great buildplate from Ideaformer. It feels nice and sturdy so it should hold up for awhile and it works a lot like a textured PEI plate. The added bemefit to this plate are the patterns you can get on your prints. This is the only plate I've seen like this one and I really like the patterns for specific purposes.

I've used over a dozen different plates for the X1C, of varying material and styles including other etched plates. I've tried all sorts of ways to get petg to stick to this plate but it just doesn't, despite the plate being etched with PETG as being a supported material. Even with Vision Miner adhesive, which on every other plate I have causes PETG to stick almost TOO good to, this fails on just the walls of the first layer of any print. The plate otherwise looks great, fits great, seems like a well designed product. I just can't get PETG to stick to it despite not having an issue with PETG on any other plate I have.I've even tried removing the default 0.15mm elephant foot compensation to try and get some extra squish, raising build plate temperature (especially with the adhesive to try and get it to really hold on)PLA? No problem. Works exactly as described. This + the build quality I feel deserves 3 stars.

I tested this board on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer. It comes with instruction that for such printer the user must disable the position sensor or else the printer will raise a warning. My first test of printing a large surface on this board dis not disable the position sensor, and the first layer print failed half way with adhesion problem. It despite I put generous amount of glue after washing plate with soap. After I disabled the position sensor, the first layer printing has been successful for subsequent prints. The patterns are as advertised, but more subtle then those "3D" or rainbow patterns. I much prefer a deeper imprint, but I can see that the subtleness may be exactly what an user would want for his/her prints.
