This is a review of the Hot Wheels Toy Car Track Set, Launch and Loop Playset & 1:64 Scale Die-Cast Vehicle, Crash Area on Figure 8 Track with Loop-Kicker Booster:I ordered this set for my grandson who will soon be turning four. The design is very well thought out. When storing, the middle piece launcher can be removed and the track actually folds in half. Consolidates down to save space and not have to disassemble and reassemble every time. Very cool!

I haven't opened or tested this yet. It looks great and was a good price. Its too big for a single bedroom though, even when folded, so I won't be able to gift to my grandchild as intended. Looks like its another toy for grandmas house!

This hot wheels set is great. My son has been having a blast playing with it. Easy to put together by an adult. Little kids will need help.

Like all Hot Wheels tracks, this one requires assembly. The build is not very complex, but a kid may need a little help in a couple of places to snap tracks that are quite hard to put together. These places are also difficult to separate afterwards.A note to consider, if you disassemble them to store them once in a while, I suggest you leave these points connected. Every time these connections are separated, the plastic weakens, making the joint less sturdy, causing the track to not be as strong as it should be for those curves later on.This track features a hinged track that allows for it to fold onto itself, reducing the footprint in about half on its long dimension; and uses a handle on the top of the loop to carry it around. Be careful with the "curve pillars" that snap under the wide curves because they come loose and fall somehow easily.The automated manual crank that pushes the cars on this track was new to us. We had not seen it featured on another one before this track. It is a great alternative to the battery operated rubber wheels that propel cars quite fast on other crash courses. When using more than 2 cars in this track, the potential for very fast speed crashes is very high. Cars with paint (not like the plastic body one provided with the set) can get their pain jobs really damaged. Be aware of this to select what card to use with this track when playing adventurously.

My oldest has really been enjoying this neat loop track from Hot Wheels. It wasn't hard to put together, the Hot Wheels cars run smoothly on it (no trucks or vans though), and it requires no batteries to power it (just a spring loaded crank used to keep it moving).Just turn the handle, put the car at the start of the track, and watch it loop till the spring winds down. This track sends the cars zooming around it at a nice fast pace, and it's got a fun crash zone where if you put multiple cars on the track they can meet and collide, or just miss each other in a series of close calls. My nearly 4 year old loves the excitement and speed.For me the real bonus is the fact that it folds in half for easy storage. While it's not super tiny when folded up, the folding design makes it a lot easier to store than the fully laid out track would be. It's a nice touch compared to the tracks you have to constantly take back apart if you want them up off the floor.It can be a little noisy when sending the cars around, but no more so than the noise my excited child makes while playing with it.Great track set from Hot Wheels, kiddo really approves.

This is a fun track to play with and you can also connect it to other regular hot wheels tracks. You can't however connect this with the other branded tracks (ie Mario, Cars, etc). The other branded tracks may not fit and for sure the other cars don't fit because they're built too wide.So all in all, this track will work with regular hot wheels cars and tracks. Cars that are too light sometimes don't make the loop too, so you have to find the heavier cars

Our toddler enjoys playing with the track, and I enjoy that it folds in half so it's easier to put away. It comes with a car, but other Hot Wheels cars run fine, though the off-road ones have wider tires and won't do so well.It's a neat set and the lever pulls keeps them entertained for quite a while.

My son loves this hot wheels set. As a toddler he can turn the crank and get the set going all on his own. The set is smaller than other hot wheels sets. But once it collapses it does take up more space than I’d like. We have a smaller home so space is limited.It was easy to setup and use. The cars make it around the track with no issue. Hot wheels were fun when I was a kid and it’s great to see they are still innovating.The set includes a car but I wish it included 2. The cars that come with sets run better on the track than other cars we have.
