For years the simple comfort of home it had become a source of low-grade stress. Imagine walking into your kitchen not to relax but to automatically scan for ants marching across the counter. That was daily life with pests. Nighttime lights on forget ease just bracing for that skittering sound of roaches disappearing into the shadows. Even storing pantry staples felt risky. If you know this constant worry keep reading: Hot Shot Ant Roach & Spider Killer has made a real difference for my home peace. It wasn't just seeing a bug now and then it was the constant feeling of being on guard. Every room every check the same question: "Are they back again?" Gentle traps natural sprays? Ineffective honestly. Barely touched the problem. I felt perpetually uneasy missing just normal home tranquility and skeptical any spray could actually fix it easily. Real pest control that’s also simple? Seemed too good to be true. Then based on recommendations for a strong accessible fix I tried Hot Shot. Past sprays hadn't worked so my hopes were realistic. But the promise of fast action and lasting defense? Worth a try.(Discovery)And day one yes day one things shifted. Checked my usual trouble spots: under-sink cabinet pantry corners garage edges after dark. And then fewer pests. Way fewer. Less of that telltale rustling in the quiet evenings. Less sightings where they used to be common. Not zero bugs overnight but a clear immediate drop. This spray isn't just called "Killer" it worked fast to cut down the pest problem throughout the house.(Experience)Now weeks in using Hot Shot as needed? Big relief. That daily pest stress? Noticeably lighter. Kitchen checks nighttime walks to the bathroom grabbing snacks from the pantry less worry clouding everything. Pest control feels controlled finally. Application? Truly point and spray simple. No fuss no mess just spray and done. The scent? You notice it when spraying a clean citrusy smell almost like lemon cleaner then it fades in a reasonable time. If strong smells bug you be aware it's there for a bit. Also important to remember: this is for common bugs ants roaches spiders. Don’t expect it to handle say a full-blown termite invasion or wipe out every single house centipede instantly.(Balance)But the key win? Regaining home comfort. Less pest stress plain and simple. Fewer jump-scares seeing bugs. More just relaxing at home without constant pest patrol on my mind. Hot Shot Ant Roach & Spider Killer isn't a miracle and the scent is a factor but it has made a genuinely positive difference managing everyday household bugs bringing back some real peace of mind.(Conclusion)For anyone needing a readily available quick and effective spray against ants roaches and spiders Hot Shot is a strong practical choice easily 4 out of 5 stars. Effective and simple for typical pest issues just factor in the scent and know it's for common pests not a cure-all.

Very Effective! After moving in, I soon discovered spider eggs in all of the closets and the pantry. That was unnerving! Even worse was when I started seeing spiders and spider webs! After cleaning and vacuuming, I spray this along sideboards, in closets, along windowsills, etc. I have to use it once a week, at least. Haven't seen spiders in the past month or so since using this. Also good for fleas, roaches, and other insects. I will order this again!

Kills the ants immediately and keeps them from coming back. It does have a scent when you initially spray it so depends if you can tolerate that smell. I tried bait traps but unfortunately those didn't seem to work. This probably doesn't get rid of the colony but at least they are not in immediate area.

Hot Shot Ant, Roach, and Spider spray is highly effective in killing ants, roaches, and spiders on contact. Within seconds, pests are immobilized. The spray canister has a simple nozzle, making it easy to direct the spray precisely where needed, whether it's in cracks, crevices, or under appliances. Residue Effectiveness: It leaves behind a residual barrier that continues to kill for a certain period, depending on the surface.

Pro: cheap, fast acting, lightly scented, no chemical or oily smell.Con: if it's a con, it degrades in sunlight after a few days so you may need to re-apply.Got a major Daddy Long Legs infestation this year. The 10 ft area around my front door was fully covered with them. Solid black moving mass !.I don't mind them but this is just too many.As usual, I want something cheap and fast.As it turn out, most brands of consumer grade bug spray contains a mixture of the same set of active ingredients - synthetic Pyrethroids of one flavour or the other, cousins of Pyrethrum, sometime with a synergistic booster. To to lowest bid the order went.Well, it kill bugs dead just like the other brand.Lightly hit the throbbing wall of black mass, the long legs fell to the ground on contact.Went back for a second pass for the stragglers, got most of them.No strong odor, just the light "Crisp Linen" that went away after a few minutes. Two weeks later the eggs had hatched and the throbbing mass returns.I hit them again and this time they are gone for good.

I started using this 6 weeks ago to rid my balcony of spiders and am pleasantly surprised by the results. It reliably kills on contact and truly seems to deter them, though not immediately. For the first couple weeks, I had to douse the area liberally each time I wished to enjoy a spiderless balcony, but they gradually appeared less frequently after that. Nowadays, I only lightly spray the perimeter a few times a week, and that may not even be strictly necessary. After seeing several big and scary specimens a day for years, I haven't seen one in weeks, and I intend to keep it that way.I do wish the stream was a bit more concentrated so that I could aim from farther away, but this stuff isn't a pain to use up close like similar products I've tried. It doesn't produce much blowback unless it's very windy, and the odor isn't super toxic. In fact, it smells more like a cleaning agent than a bug spray, and the scent doesn't linger long either. I briefly leave the area after use just to be safe and have never encountered issues or side effects.I can't say that it lasts as long as claimed since I've continued spraying sporadically for peace of mind, but I'm satisfied with the current state of things. I haven't even had to repurchase yet since the first bottle is still going strong. This is the least expensive yet most effective option I've tried, so it's a great value in my view.
