Looks great heavy duty plate and the U-bolt but very bad Hardware very bad couldn’t even torque it to 15 foot poundsnuts are very loose on the bolts so I had to return them

Hardware did not sustain standard torque values for advertised grade and size. Avoid buying. Cheaply made and not worth using. Find something of better grade/quality elsewhere. I returned this item and would NOT reconsider in the future.

I'm very impressed with the build quality -- the plates are really thick and are much heavier than I expected, much heavier duty than than the rusty old set they're replacing. The threads are smooth and everything fits together well enough (I had to squeeze the u-bolt ends together a tiny bit to get them through the plate, but it wasn't difficult at all). Thick galvanized coating makes me hopeful these won't rust as fast as our old trailer bolts did.
