This is a great braiding kit for people who like to braid their horses’ hair for fun. This kit would not be suitable for people who show competitively. Everything about this kit is really great! My only complaint is that the bands aren’t the most durable. Otherwise, everything else works great!

The DMTVAL horse grooming kit is fantastic. It comes with a waist pack that you wear while grooming, and it's loaded with some really handy tools. You get a brush, a wide detangling comb, a narrow comb for braiding, a rug hook, a thread remover, a big plastic needle, two clips, and 20 rubber bands. The waist pack has 8 pockets, so everything stays neat and within reach while you're working with your horse.

I like this horse braiding kit. It is exactly as described. I love the colorful and large hairbrush. It is appropriate for horses and humans. Even the clips, rubber bands and combs could be used for styling a person’s hair. The other items (seam ripper, rug hook and large plastic needle) are crafting tools. Please see my photos.

This kit is great! Super Handy for horse braids. The organizer is helpful and the belt keeps it organized.The brush is helpful, and the combs are a good teeth width. The combs are just plastic, so be careful with super tangled manes. The braiding bands are a good stretch and stay well, I recommend securing with a piece of electric tape as well to keep braids secure.The only thing missing is a needle and thread for button braids, but that's an easy addition.Lots of pockets , so easy to organize.

My sister has a bunch of horses and she likes to do shows and parades in the summer so I grabbed this for when we braid their mane and tails. It’s a nice kit, everything fits into the holder and the brush seems super sturdy.

The tools in this kit are average while the bag is more on the cheap side. In my case, I don’t think the quality is a hindrance. As often as I need to braid, this kit has been there to do the job. The tools are lightweight but effective. This kit even works for keeping the mane and tail knot free. I would recommend this set with the understanding that the quality is more on the average side.

This kit is basic, but has some really useful tools. The comb and brush seem well-made (and the kids love the "rainbow" colors of the brush), and there are all the materials you'd need to do basic braiding. Plus it all fits in a nice little organizer that they include. The organizer has extra pockets, so if you wanted to add ribbons or other braiding accessories, there's room.We like keeping things like this up in the barn. Today's a rainy day, but things like this offer up other horse activities for the kids. We'll be stocking this with colored ribbons to contrast with our horse's black mane, and this kit will be even more fun!
