you can pay a lot of money for gloves - for this price - these are the answer- bought several different kinds - i could not find much better for more money.

Ich habe eher kleine Hände und komme mit der Gr. S gut klar.Ich benutze sie zum rudern auf einem Heim-Rudergerät, da ich sehr verschwitzte Hände bekomme und sonst befürchte, dass mir der Griff irgendwann mal wegflutscht.Mit den Handschuhen habe ich nicht so ein verschwitztes Handgefühl und kann den Griff gut halten. Durch das sichere Gefühl ist mein Griff auch nicht so angestrengt.Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Great gloves! Used them for rowing a kayak on a float trip in the Ozarks. Kept my hands comfortable for the entire 5 hour trip.

I purchased these for the rowing machine but found that they are also good for weights. Some of the weight attachments dig into your skin, and the material protects your hands and helps with grips.

I use these indoors on my Concept2 RowErg, someone in a rowing forum recommended them and I can second that recommendation. They are not hot, nor heavy, and the grip on the handle is superb.My hands are large and finding gloves of any type that fit any type is a gamble, but these in XL fit perfectly and seem to fit better all the time. Order your regular size and you should be fine.For on-water rowing, these would perform even better since the grip is excellent (they're made by 'Hornet Watersports' after all).I can't speak to their longevity (yet), but for indoor rowing I expect them to last a very long time.Highly recommended.

I bought these gloves for sculling and sweep rowing (outdoor rowing on the water.) The fingers of these gloves don't quite reach the first (the MP) joint of my fingers so I don't expect that they would protect my fingers from blisters near the joints. It appeared that the gloves may not be returnable after the tags are cut off so I didn't want to wear them on the water and just returned them.But they were comfortable so it you get blisters on your palm rather than your fingers, they may work for you.

I started doing longer rows on my Concept 2 machine and was getting more blisters than callouses. These are easy to put on and take off- protect my hands and would also be nice for outdoor canoe-kayak and rowing. We have washed them once so far in the regular machine, let hand dry and all ok.

If anything run slightly large in fit. Very soft, jelly like padding material. Used to get blisters with anything over 10k on the rowing machine despite almost daily use. Just did a marathon with not a single blister. Can't say much better than that.

Great rowing gloves ! Have tried many types: biking gloves, sailing gloves, gym weight lifting gloves... to no avail: either the gloves didn’t cover enough and I still got blisters, or the gloves bunched up uncomfortably, which made rowing even more unpleasant than it is meant to be... these are thin and grippy... don’t slip. Have been doing extended rowing sessions, and I don’t get any blisters anymore!Edited March 2018 - removed one star - Have now gone through two pairs of these (30-40 hours of hard rowing with each... about 450-600km)... two clear drawback emerged as I used them:1- they don't cover more than 1/4 of the fingers.... I still have calluses all over2- they wear out, the grippy parts goes away, and eventually they develop holes... and since they wear out first where you rub most... I now have calluses again...I now have graduated to full-length rowing gloves... time will tell whether they work out better than these.
