Cable looked to be well made straight out of the package!! But It wasn’t till I ran it through the firewall and down to the kick panel that I notice the cable is too long and decided to try and make it work since I was already committed, needless to say the hood doesn’t open easily!!

Follow some youtube vidoes and you will get this installed in no time. Will fit on a 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3 v8

This went on a 2005 Yukon and the very first pull to open the hood after installing broke the plastic handle ...had to rig it to get it to work, very poor manufacturing
