This is a great light for my plants. I love the remote control and it lights the area.

I had these lights to illuminate my art for 1.5 years now but the batteries last about 2 weeks. They are nice when they are on but that doesn’t last very long. I would not recommend buying them.

I used these for up lights for my trees in my home. Love them, but the batteries wear down so quickly. They only are real bright or the brightest I should say for maybe no more than two weeks. Am I doing something wrong?

We have two large metal photographs, one 20"x80" and one 20"x60" on a high wall with bottom edges about 9' off the floor, with 6' bookcases situated about 6' away in the first case and 5' away in the second case. Setting each of the two spots on top of the respective bookcases eliminated any installation - simply positioning the correct angle and rotation for each. They are certainly bright enough at full brightness for these pieces, and being positioned below their targets was perfect. The spot on the 20"x80" was just shy of reaching left and right edges by maybe 6", but of course there is a fade out there rather than a hard transition to darkness. The spot on the 20'x60' was shy by about 3" each side. All in all, very pleased. The remote operates as expected, and the timer function appears to be accurate. We might obtain another set of two for additional art, but have to consider whether we have convenient locations for the spots. They wouldn't suffice being mounted on the ceiling above the art because there would be reflections off the shiny surfaces into the eyes of the viewer.

As a director for an art gallery in New Orleans, I understand that any piece of art is improved when seen in directional light. Not all art purchasers are able to install track lighting in their homes and sometimes are disheartened when the art doesn't "pop" as much at home as it does in the gallery. I found these lights and decided to try them out on pieces of art that I have at home. They are extremely easy to install and, thanks to the warm color temperature of the light, make my personal artwork look fantastic. The remotes make it easy to control the brightness. If installing more than one light (I installed ten), I suggest adjusting each light individually, as the remote control will work with all of the lights you install. When adjusting, power off all of the other lights manually, set it to the right brightness, doing the same with the others. When turning them all back on by the remote, it will save the individual adjustments on each light. Changing the batteries can be a bit of a drag, but for an easy and affordable way to get a gallery-like look for your artworks at home.

We bought these as an economical alternative to a lighting dilemma we faced. We are getting married "under the stars" at a planetarium. As such, for the full effect of the stars, bright lights everywhere are not an option. We wanted something small and compact, dimmable, and adjustable, with more of a spotlight rather than a "flood lighting". These are PERFECT! The dimming can be controlled to 50% or 100% with the push of a button. Or can be customized to the amount of light you want with the +/- buttons. We didn't need the motion sensor or timed features so I can't comment on them. My one complaint, although it has nothing to do with the units themselves, is that one of the units shipped and it's remote were "used". I know this because one light had mismatched (top end) batteries installed and the remote (there are two) had the plastic that separates the batteries from the unit was already removed while the other remote still had the plastic and the other light didn't have batteries. That said, both units work perfectly with either remote. Speaking of remotes, either remote will work with either unit. If the two are close enough together or you are farther from the units but still in remote range, you can simultaneously control both units. For our purposes, these are perfect. They are small, perform as intended and the dimming feature is exactly what we wanted.
