As a Party decor I need lights to put in my setups, these one are perfect, perfect size, easy to use with the remote, very functional, great price, good color options and they are brighter than other I have.

I bought this spotlights for an event and they worked just fine! It has different led light options and has a remote to control it. I need a close up lighting and it was perfect for it.

I didn't have high expectations for this spotlight, given the price or size, but I'm impressed. The picture above is lit from below at a distance of about 22 inches (55 cm). It's good for close up lighting because it's not blindingly bright. Also the spot is too spread out to use like a pin spot on a disco ball, but if you want to dramatically light up small, close items indoors or out, this works well.

The box contained the light (with plug-in cord and on/off button attached) , an adaptor for a "spike" to use with potted plants and a remote control. The only directions were a one page pictorial on how to attach the spike to the light. There were no instructions on using the remote. There are some small pictures etched into the back of the remote that were impossible to read. I assume they were explaining how to open the battery case to change the battery. (We were not able to open the battery case.) There was a plastic pull tab to activate the battery which we were able to get out so that we could use the remoteuntil the battery needs replacing. The remote works the on/off for the light, so we found no reason to use the foot button on the electrical cord. We tried the light out as an up-lighting feature and found that it resulted in heavy shadowing of the objects it was designed to hi-lite. We had the same experience with down-lighting art work. Additionally, down-lighting left us with the electrical cord and an extension cord hanging down the wall. Not a visually pleasing set up. When the light was moved 20 feet or more away from the object, the shadows were minimized. However, moving the light that far away could be a problem with the cord being too short. On a positive note, we found the red light, turned to its lowest setting, to be an asset in the corner of a child or baby's room. It is not bright enough to disturb sleep, but gives enough ambient light to check-in on the sleeping child when the room is dark. The remote offers several color change cycles, but we were unable to figure out how to select specific colors to cycle through. After selecting a starting color, the remote seems to pick its own choices for color change. If you are trying to color coordinate with your decor, this may not be possible. The description provided by the seller on-line suggested that this light could be used outside. The light unit and cord did not appear to be moisture proof and the plug is 2-prong, so this could be a problem if left outside without supervision. If there were more thorough directions included, we might have been able to find other uses for this light. It seems to have possibilities we were unable to discover on our own.
