This face shield offers excellent protection with its clear polycarbonate visor. The anti-fog and hard coat treatments are a definite plus, ensuring clear vision and durability. The Bionic design is comfortable and lightweight, making it easy to wear for extended periods. While a bit pricier than some options, the quality and features justify the cost.

I bought this for somebody else and they said they loved it. They felt at ease wearing it and felt protected. It fit fine for them. And it’s not that heavy.

I bought these specifically for when I do power carvings and the best part about this shield is it doesn’t fog up at all, perfect vision every time I used it and equally important is the fact it’s super tough protection from flying chips as it happened to me on couple of occasions, very thankful I had these on.Wouldn’t hesitate in buying these again and strongly recommend for anyone who does wood turning/ power carving or woodworking in general.

Great shield, well some says this is overkill but what is overkill when safety is concern? I always gets saw dust in my eyes and I wonder will I be able to see when I get older

What an upgrade! I've used the old style shields and they did their job, but were clunky, distorted vision, and annoying. This is light years ahead. The shield is optically excellent. There is no distortion across the field of view. The field of view is very wide and long (side to side and up and down). The supporting frame isn't in the way, even when the shield is pushed forward in the two mounting positions.I tried the shield forward because I didn't want it to fog the way my old one sometimes did. That wasn't needed. The anti-fog works well, at least when it's new. I don't know how well it will last, but it's great so far. This was going back and forth between a shop with a/c and a covered outdoor area (20 or so degree difference in temps) in about 70% humidity. Super cold may perform differently. The mask is comfortable on the head, with several adjustments to make it fit a range of wearers. Padding is good, and it stays in the up position until you pull it down. It's not difficult, either, and doesn't try to push the straps off your head if you adjust the shield position.Protection is good with good coverage from forehead to neck. I used it for metal grinding with handheld angle grinders and bench grinders, and a cold saw. There were times you could hear bits flick and hit the plastic, but it wasn't nicked up or damaged. Over time I'm sure it will succumb and need to be changed, but that seems like it will be a while out at this pace.

I tried many face shields before this model and I've finally found the winner. It's extremely balanced and comfortable but has successfully protected my face numerous times from dangerous chunks of wood and bark flying off my lathe. The visor is micro-adjustable so you can fit glasses or a respirator underneath - comfortably! Very sturdy build but this shield is light enough that you forget you're wearing it.Tips:• Remove the protective film off the visor before using!• Push the head strap adjustment knob in to adjust.• Spend a few minutes customizing the fit - helps with comfort and you only have to do it once. With 2,784 possible adjustment positions, I'm sure you can find the perfect fit.Pros:• Outstanding optics. Clear field of vision ahead, lower and peripherally• Strong polycarbonate visor is Ansi rated• Replaceable visor and sweatband• Can be adjusted while wearing• Anti-Fog actually works! (model S8510 only)• Visor flips up and stays up until you tug it downCons:• So comfortable that you'll forget you're wearing the shield• The Darth Vader look frightens my dog

This has awesome protection, comfort and adjustments for just about everyone. The design also covers a big part of the neck which is kind of rare for face shields of this kind. The polycarbonate lens also seems very durable to scratches so far and covers a the major part of it to assure the best vision possible. Not to mention that it looks pretty damn cool in my opinion.

I agree with another reviewer, the clear lens scratches VERY easily, and in no time if you don't baby it will become cloudy. The good news is they have replacement lenses, but if like me it's been left out, dropped about, and used heavily, the padded band will also be grungy so I might just buy a whole new unit. Still, at least a dozen times grinding away at cement block I've gotten a pretty good "TINK" to the lens area to remind me it's worth the cost. The main reason I bought this is because I always seem to fog up any goggle, no matter what new technology (marketing) they have for venting, and doing extended work even in high humidity is no problem with this. The added bonus you protect more of your face. This has been a great purchase in remodeling my house. The strap will bother you after a time, but no more than goggles would from a tight strap much less the pressure around the bridge of your nose. It can be awkward in tight spaces, or just walking about with the shield lifted, and more than a couple times I've unexpectedly caught or bumped a wall/joist/stud with it. It is large enough for me (and most people I imagine) to wear a respiratory mask underneath.I would recommend cleaning it with any moderate use, gently rinsing it first then using soap and water for anything staying on it. You can and should from time to time remove the lens to do this. As long as you don't leave it outside like I have, don't throw it constantly to the ground like I have, and keep it from landing/resting face down where the lens can make contact with the ground, it should last a considerable amount of time before you see any hazing of the lens.
