This is a handy capacitance meter to have if your multi-meter doesn't have the function. Easily troubleshoot capacitors in AC units or smaller ones on a circuit board. Failed capacitors will be out of tolerance, usually between 5-10%. My only complaint is I wish the connector on the leads were 90 degrees like most meters. It's more for convenience for storage because they do stick out quite a bit so I have to remove the leads when I store it.

I for this to measure some larger capacitors, and that was a mistake. It seems to measure over time by potentially charging the cap. This slowly counted up by about 1mf a second. For a large cap, this will take forever. I have up in it after several minutes if it slowly counting up. Maybe it works better for very small caps.
