If you’re looking for something really durable this is definitely a good pick and worth your money but sadly for me and probably for other people is that the immobilizer chip inside the key is ever so slightly farther from the ignition. So what would happen is when I get in my car and insert my key and turn to crank it was start for maybe 2 seconds and then the engine would turn off then the immobilizer light would turn on and flash. My solution is that when i’m turning on my car, I have to push my key a little farther in to make sure the ignition reads that immobilizer chip and it usually works. But Other then that It’s a pretty cool key fob case if yours ever breaks but definitely keep this in mind when buying one! It’s easy to transfer everything over since it should all pop into place and the case fits well and i will also say it’s a little bit bigger than i expected but not massive.Pretty happy with my purchase.

What a great product! My OEM fob literally fell apart. This fob was exactly what I wanted. It was extremely easy to assemble (took less than 10 minutes). It held the key tightly. I always read the reviews, especially the negative ones and honestly I can’t figure out why some folks had trouble assembling it or that it didn’t hold the key blade tight or didn’t allow their vehicle to start due to the thickness of the plastic not allowing the microchip to be sensed. I didn’t experience any problems. It’s bigger than the OEM fob but that is because it is far more robust! Some complained about the can opener. I agree that it has no value but who cares. If it is such a problem then cut it off.I highly recommend it and expect it to last as long as I have my CR-V (I keep my Hondas until the wheels fall off).

Quality is solid. Key functions as it should, no programming or anything required, it’s the color of the plastic not painted so even if it were to scratch (mine has not) it’s not noticeable. I got it for a 2009 Honda fit key because my oem one cracked. Transferring old key internals to the new one was not too bad with the instruction video. This is not a slip on case but a full plastic replacement. Great value

Better than all the rest. I recently bought a cheaper replacement but was not the exact fit, even though it stated it was. Bought this which was a little bit pricier, but what you get is a perfect fit and excellent quality. Made in the USA and not a cheap part from China. Easy to install, strong and sturdy. A little bulky but worth it!!!!

The standard one piece Honda key/fob always break. The thin plastic housing holding the small metal key in place is just pathetic and to make it worse, it's even weakened further by a screw. I've gone through several replacements for my daughter's car key on her crv. This replacement is the first I have any confidence will last. Much more solid and is much better constructed than the oem key. Definitely an upgrade from the oem design.Easy to install and includes thin shims to make sure the stock key nib will be held firmly in place without sway or wobble. No screw to weaken the connection and 4 allen screws with threaded inserts to hold the case together.

The Dubb Boys have done a pretty good job upgrading the junk plastic original Honda shell with something much more durable. They fixed at least two of the problems that the OEM shells had.1) Cheezy microscrew that easily strips and pushes through the shell.2) Plastic keyring slot that breaks with time.Dubbs missed on a couple of points that I will go over. They should provide instructions for each brand of automoile. I got a video for the Jeep Wrangler. For the Honda Accord, the only danger was removing the disabler chip from the old shell. Frankly, chew away the old junky shell from around the chip rather than risk breaking the tiny encoding device. By the way, if you break the disabler chip, expect to pay a couple of hundred bucks to remedy the situation. And Dubbs Hardware provides no secure slot for the chip, just a space beside the transponder package. The chip will easily go into the space but will rattle around. I put a dab of Goop adhesive on the chip to secure it in place. The pathetic Honda screw requires a tight fit screwdriver to remove. It it strips, just break apart the old shell apart so that you may remove the screw with pliars later. This needs to happen to get into the new shell.Everything fit into the new case and was easily secured with the four hex screws. My key did not wobble but if yours does, locate and install the provided invisible plastic shims located in the "empty" plastic bag. The shims are in there somewhere. And one final note.... The steel plate for the keyring is a nice upgrade from weak plastic, but will not allow for a reasonable size strong keyring. What good is a tough-as-nails transponder case if you have to buy a flimsy wire loop to hold it? I enlarged the tiny hole with a #19 drill but would have much rather have had a proper elongated slot than a bottle opener that I will never use.So to wrap it up.... Buy it. It is worth the extra money to have a properly designed American made product. And have some Goop and a #19 drill ready so that it will fit the smaller diamer key rings.

No doubt about the material, the design and the durability of this product. I believe that i made a great decision despite the bulkiness, it feels very sturdy. It was easy to assemble, it even included shims to make the key part more soild, i used all 4 on my honda crv (2011) key, although everything fit very well, the electronic part was a little wiggly on the inside, you could hear it rattling. So i decided to put a piece of duck tape on the lower edge since the top part communicates with the car lock. Couldn't be happier, a great long lasting solution. I also recommend replacing the battery and cleaning the electronic fob on the outside from dust and debris..

El diseño del remplazo es muy bieno, todo ensambla perfecto, los materiales son resistentes. El cambio es sencillo de realizar. Recomedaria al fabricante incluir un pequeño desarmador para poder desensamblar la llave original
