I've been using Shin-Etsu on many vehicles for decades, the stuff works.Keeps door/top seals pliable.Great for Jeep Wranglers (and other SUVs) that tend to have water leaks/drips from Freedom Panels and door seals.

After looking at other reviews, I decided to try this product to fix the windows on several of my older vehicles. After years of use, the windows were having trouble rolling back up in cold weather. After applying this to the window tracks, and running the window up and down a few times, they now operate well in all temperature conditions. I have also found this to be very useful to recondition door seals to prevent water from entering the cars. Highly recommended and easy to use.

Bought this to treat aging seals/rubber on an old Mitsubishi I have, as well as an older Mercedes. This legendary silicone grease goes a great job of penetrating and protecting rubber seals, etc. I even used it to lube an o-ring on a bosch fuel rail part for a friend. It's a little pricey for what it is, but there are no questions about what you're getting/it's history of efficacy.

I used it to lubricate rv toilet seals. It did wonders and brought the life to the dried black seals. No more nasty odors. I apply a thin coat to seals once every 2 weeks never been happier.

Mythical. Mysterious. Magical...Could the whispers about this magical silicone grease from Tokyo, Japan possibly be true?!?!?Does this stuff do what they claim it does? The answer is YES! This silicone grease works BEAUTIFULLY to moisturize, restore and revitalize all of the weatherseals on my 2017 V6 Accord Touring (now they were actually in pretty good condition already but this product made them even better somehow anyways!). This silicone grease is greasy when you first apply it but it's super easy to remove after you've given it sometime to be absorbed into the rubber. It wipes off clean but leaves behind moist, supply, revitalized weather seals behind.I gave it 4 stars because i personally feel that $14.99 is a better price than $19.99 as most people will only use this once a year or only a handful of times while owning a car for 5-7 years.Sorry for the long review, LOL. Get this stuff if you're curious about fixing leaking door seals or sunroofs or if you're interested in PREVENTING your weather seals from drying out and failing altogether.

I own a 2011 Honda Pilot. I first used it on all my door seals. This stuff really rejuvenate the seals. Then I decided to use it on my black plastic bumper trims. This stuff has to be the best rejuvenating grease for plastic black trim I have ever used. I had just got my top black plastic trim replaced. So the rest of the bumper really stood out as old and dried. Once I applied this stuff on, the bumber came alive! It looks just as black and shiny as my new black plastic trim. I used plastic gloves to spread the grease over all the black plastic trim. Once it was applied to the plastic trim, I used a cloth-sponge applicator to spread it all over. It is well worth the price for this stuff. Sorry for not taking more before pictures. The picture befor was taken before replacing the top part of my black trim. If you zoom in, you can see the white on the black trim. I've used every black trim retire known to man. This stuff did all my door seals, bottom plastic trim on the doors, all my back bumper black plastic trim (minus the new replaced top plastic trim), and the complete front black plastic trim. I still had a quarter left of this stuff!

I used this as recommended by Honda to correct the popping sounds associated with the front suspension in a 2011 Honda Odyssey. It did make the popping sound go away. The grease is real high quality. I have since used it as a lubricant for the rotating shafts in my Sthill Komi weed trimmer. Again worked great. I purchased this for the Odyssey but I think I will find many uses for it. I believe this is what Honda also recommends using to lubricate the sliding doors on the side of Odyssey. It is a good idea to keep those clean and lubricated. I had it done once under warranty but that has long since expired. I will apply some of this to the mechanism soon and report back.If you are having the same trouble with you front suspension, this is what Honda recommends:This bulletin applies to the 2011 Honda Odyssey. If a dull popping, knocking or creaking sound is heard at the front of the vehicle during low-speed turning, the probable cause involves the bump stop contacting the front damper body, or the damper shaft self-locking nut is loose.Apply Shin-Etsu grease around the top of both front dampers, and re-torque the damper shaft self-locking nuts.Raise the vehicle on a lift and allow the front dampers to fully extend. Lift up the damper dust covers to expose the damper body.Apply a small amount (about 0.5 gram, or about one-half the size of a dime) of Shin-Etsu grease fully around the top of the damper body. NOTE: Do not grease the damper shaft.Reinstall the damper dust covers. The bottom of the dust cover hooks onto the tabs at the base of the damper body.
