They work fine, I suppose. My negativity toward them is based upon the cartridge size, not the grease itself. I only used these a few times due to a 3-oz grease gun came with my riding mower, but quickly grew sick of them and purchased a cheap grease gun that takes the larger cartridges instead.

Fit my mini grease gun perfectly and was able to lube all the points of my classic Mustang’s front suspension with just one tube.

Alright I do actually have a life. In fact, I used this grease to lube a rocker-style ball-hitch that I'm going to use while towing a teardrop trailer while overlanding in Colorado in August! So anyway...yes, this is grease. It incorporates Molybdenum and Graphite, so if your application requires either of those, you're set.The only cautionary note I might add would be not to mix this grease with other grease of unknown type if you don't know compatibility; some types of grease don't work together well and could even cause damage if mixed. So do your homework, make sure this is the appropriate type of grease for your application, and then if you don't know the type of grease already in your part, be sure to pump enough of this grease in to totally replace the existing stuff.

I was looking for a substitute for the Lubriplate Mag-1 grease that's recommended for my Toro snowblower auger gearcase. The Mag-1 grease is expensive and hard to find locally. I found this CRC Moly-Graph grease to be a good substitute. One concern I had was that some "extreme pressure" greases contain sulfur compounds that will attack the copper in the bronze worm gears in snowblower auger gearcases. I called the CRC technical hotline, but they had no test data on compatibility with copper. So I ran my own informal copper compatibility test following the protocol of ASTM D130. I took a strip of clean polished copper, coated it in CRC Moly-Graph, and heated it over a boiling water bath at 100 Centigrade (212 Farenheit) for 3 hours. To my surprise, after 3 hours, the copper showed zero--and I mean zero--visual evidence of tarnishing or corrosion. It was better than the "1a" visual reference strip in the ASTM D130 protocol. My conclusion is that the CRC Moly-Graph is very compatible with copper, and therefore will not damage the bronze worm gears in snowblower auger gearcases. However, when switching from a different lubricant to the CRC Moly-Graph, it's important to flush out the old lube and get all the old stuff out with brake cleaner, so that any potentially incompatible materials in the old grease/lube don't contaminate the new CRC Moly-Graph.Another benefit of using grease instead of oil in an auger gearbox is that it won't leak past worn seals. However, it can be hard to get the grease into the gearbox. I use a large "turkey brine injector" syringe (not a baster, a syringe) and use it to inject the CRC Moly-Graph grease into the auger gearbox.

I don't really care for this. As axle and bearing grease, it seems to work OK. However, the dark gray color blends in with the old dirty, blackened grease you're refreshing which makes it unpleasant (and a bit messier) to use. In retrospect, I wish I had thought that through a bit more and gotten normal amber, red or blue NLGI GC-LB / NLGI 2 grease.
