Just mounted light/fan in laundry room to decrease condensation; we'll have to get back to you, on how effective it was. Nice lighting and pretty quiet for a exhaust fan. Wiring was a little frustrating; long wires trying to fit into little box, but do able. Took a little over hour and half to get into place and fit new exhaust pipe to it. Very happy with the product.

It seems to be built pretty well. The space for the wiring connections is very small. Making the connections is easy but making the wires and all fit into the you corner is a real challenge. I haven’t finished connecting it yet so I can’t comment on the operation. Time will tell.

After installing the 7141-80 model on another bathroom we decided to install this one in our main bathroom. The bathroom is rather small, with less than 60 square feet area. The previous unit was an old and noisy NuTone 696N; this new unit requires about the same size cutout on the ceiling, but the exhaust duct goes in the opposite direction; it also requires a 4" conduit instead of the 3" used by the NuTone (plan the installation to include a replacement conduit; while you can buy an adapter to match the 4" outlet to the existing 3" conduit doing so will reduce the performance of the fan and make it more noisy).The result is a great improvement, both on the performance of the extractor and how good it looks. The Light fixture finish we selected was the brush-nickel which matches the bathroom accessories. There are other color choices that may go better with your bathroom. the light fixture casing is all plastic so you don't have to worry about rust. It's easy remove for cleaning (the metal wire clips are wide but not too rigid). While the LED lights are not replaceable we expect them to last several years and hope the manufacturer will sell a replacement in case it fails. We feel that this is a high quality product, priced way below the competitors without sacrificing performance and functionality.

This is a solid product that is well made. The install was pretty difficult for me. It had to be done from above because the support screws install outside the box. I was expecting the install to be similar to a ceiling fan but it was not. Be prepared to deal with insulation, pipes and wires in the way and balancing on the ceiling joists while working below your feet. That said the result was worth the effort this is a great product.

This is a great fan and light system for the bathroom. Has worked without issue since installation 6 months ago.- The light is wired independent from the fan, a nice option.- The fan works well. The mirror is clear after using the shower.- Installation was quick and instructions were clear.- The fan is quiet with no vibration heard when in operation.- Will purchase again to replace existing one in another bathroom.
