The product itself is decent.I bought this a while back to help with a fruit fly problem. It feels cheapy but definitely gets it's job done.It has a nice little tray in the bottom that collects the cooked bugs and it's not horribly large or in the way. It definitely attracts bugs.The bulb lasts a while too.I just wish it had a longer power cable, but that might be a me problem, as I have limited plug ins.As far as replacement bulbs go, I don't know. I moved and somewhere in the chaos of packing and transporting, I managed to lose this little light, so I have no idea if replacement bulbs are easy to find or reasonably priced.If you need a low cost pest control (NOT irradication), this is a good little light and I highly recommend it.If you're after something for outdoors, I personally would not trust this to last the long run outside.If you're after quality material, go for something more expensive.

Bug zapper is perfect for indoor use… when I get little tiny flying bugs this catches them and zaps them dead. A great mosquitoes killer too… best for the little flying bug!! 100% excellent!

I live in Florida, the bug state. Mosquitoes are a problem around my home. I've an indoor arboretum, and saucers with standing water occur after watering day. That plus the fact anytime you open the door, Mosquitoes are going to get in, means I need a safe to use insect destroyer. People, and pets, plus insecticide, don't mix. So, I've been using bug zippers. This Gecko Insect killer works, five stars works. Within moments of turning the insect killer on, I hear the crackle of small insects lured into the trap. Not only mosquitoes, but I've had moths, small beetles and other insects zapped. The unit uses a Compact Florissant light blub, and emits a blueish light, at the right wavelength to attract bugs. It works. No more bugs, and that's what I want.

Recien lo encedi y comenzo a hacer su funcion inmediatamente, en 60 minutos he escuchado que ha emitido un chispazo unas 30 veces o 40 veces, comparandolo con otros(Steren) que he tenido , trabaja excelente, espero que tenga una buena durabilidad.

The bulb blew out and the base looked melted within a month of using it. It worked well for zapping flying insects, but not as long as it should have.... Long term update... I changed the stars from 3 to 5 because of the customer service, and the replacement zapper has been flawless. So, the company sent a new zapper, and worried the bulb might go out quickly again, I found a deal for two replacement bulbs. I received the new zapper and it works great, no issues for several months now🤞. So for the giggles I put a replacement bulb in the old zapper, and it worked great, for about 1 month then did the same thing, the bulb base melted. So there must be something allowing too much power to get to the ballast in the base of the bulb. Needless to say, thank you, to the company for replacing the defective zapper, and now I have thrown the old one in the trash. Even cut the cord off so nobody gets it and burns their building down🙈 Product update... I think when it zaps bugs it causes a surge and burns the bulb out. I cannot get a bulb to last more than a couple days. The zap grid still works even when the bulb fails, but I can't believe after roughly 8 bulbs they're all defective... When it works its amazing, but I cannot keep purchasing bulbs.

Kills alotta bugs but note i say bugs not just mosquitoes. Fun to watch them all buzz in and turn into a poof of smoke. Clean with a bit of compressed air like no problem.
