Ok well before I start, check the website of the company who makes this because it's cheaper there. With that being said I absolutely love this. It came well packaged, the 2 side panels were not fitting with cam screws so I requested 2 new side panels, while I waited I started from the bottom putting parts together. Yes you can put it together from the bottom, just before you attach the side panels put the side shelves in. Had everything fit well it would have taken me maybe 1.5 hours to put it together alone. The customer service was fabulous as well. Buy it people, its a great addition to any home. It was so fun to put together that I want to take it apart just to put it together again.

I could not be more thrilled with this island! We bought it for our kitchen in our new home that has a big open space in the center. I came from a bigger kitchen at our previous home and desperately needed more cabinet space so this provides the perfect solution, and is beautiful and sturdy to boot. First off, it took about an hour to assemble and my husband was very pleased at the quality of the product, clarity of instructions, and ease of assembly. Secondly, it's very heavy and sturdy. I can lean on it and it doesn't slide. I wasa bit concerned that the double-sided drawer would fly through on the other side if I closed it too quickly, but the wood is heavy enough that this isn't an issue at all. The drawer is probably only 4-5 inches in height, but very big. I got all of my cooking utensils in there. The cupboard space is great- got all of my pyrex on the top shelf and baking sheets and pans on the bottom shelf. The little shelves on the outside are perfect for measuring cups, stemless wine glasses, etc. And lastly, the top provides just that little extra work surface I need for chopping or food prep. I highly recommend and would definitely order again!

Love my new island. From the moment it arrived EARLY to our house it took us 45 minutes to unpackaged and assemble the island! All instructions were clearly outlined, parts were labelled correctly. They provided you with an extra of each fastener just in case. Hubby was pleasantly surprised by the clear instructions and ease of assembly! Love the completed product!!!

Like several reviewers! I looked a dozens and dozens of kitchen carts before finding this one. It was exactly the size we were looking for.PROS -shipping was prompt and table was the furniture components were well packed with no damage.Assembly went smoothly with no major problems. Everything was packaged and labeled well. All parts were inculed. Directions were clear. Needed two people at times but a good number of the steps could be completed by an individual. It took two reasonably handy people about an hour and forty minutes.The island looks exactly as pictured. This is a VERY solid piece of furniture. It looks very classy and both my husband and I feel that it elevates the look of the entire kitchen. We had originally wanted black, but after thinking how awful the top of the black stove and microwave show dust, we decided to go with the white one. I was somewhat concerned that the wood might be too much wood. We have natural woodwork, cabinets, table and chairs. But it is a big room and the island looks just great. We are very, very please with this purchase.CONS- the size of the shelves was a little disappointing. The heights between the shelves vary a little, but are all around six inches. The width between the columns is 14 inches. The depths range from 6 1/2 to 9 inches. The drawer is three inches deep and holds a lot. But it seems like there is wasted space in the top that might have nicely accommodated two drawers.The drawer opens from both sides. That is neither good nor bad, but worth noting. I am not sure if it is in the product description.VALUE- We are thrilled with this island and recommended it very highly. It cost more than almost all of the other carts, etc. that we looked at, but this is a much higher quality than every thing we saw in person and worth every penny.

This island is so attractive that we will be doing a kitchen update around it. In fact, the island has so enhanced the existing 50-year old kitchen that we will be having the cabinets updated with new doors and hardware refinished to match, rather than having to replace everything as originally thought.Members of our family who have very discriminating taste in home furnishings said it was "Beautiful!" Others who have visited have said the same thing.It is not only extremely attractive and high quality, but functional. It has provided a huge amount of additional space (interior cabinet in the center is 20" x 20" x 20" with two shelves accessible from both sides). I used the cabinets for very helpful storage (see photos), placing specific items on the side of the cabinet facing where they are most needed; and the drawer for all my "office" items, such as pens, pads, stapler, etc. for incoming mail, bills, etc. and other household business activities. No more searching for pen and paper and other supplies on the fly when they are needed.Furthermore, we have a small-medium size kitchen that's "square". We were told by a contractor AND a realtor that there was no way to put an island in our kitchen, which already has a kitchen table along one side of the room. However, this island was just the perfect size for the middle of the floor (see photos) because it's not too long, while still offering a perfect size for extra counter and work space, and cabinet storage as noted above.It is going to make it possible to completely update the kitchen around it and make everything look "just right" without spending a huge amount of money on a new kitchen; that's how significantly the quality and appearance of the island enhances the room.It's one of the best purchases I have made for the house in decades and has added exceptional value. I would highly recommend this island to anyone looking for "Old World" style done with exceptional good taste.

The product came very quickly and was very well packed. It arrived in good order. It is a very substantial piece of furniture and heavy. It is exactly as the picture shows. As others mentioned, it does have some small holes on the top surface, not sure why they are there. Nonetheless they don't show enough to be a problem. All in all a good product.
