The mat itself works fine. But turning the mat on/off is confusing. The instructions are confusing. It's almost impossible to tell when it's on or off. Testing it by touching the mat is annoying. Not purchasing a second one, not recommending it.

Worked well. Dog peed the couch first time she tried getting on it. Hahahaha. Defeated the purpose, but can't say it doesn't work. She won't go on the couch as long as this is on there. Doesn't even need to be on. Wants no part of it. A more stubborn dog may keep testing, but definitely gives a good zap. Try it yourself!

This product is a joke. It drains a new battery in minutes. I can' t believe Amazon even sells it.

From trying sliced lemons, rosemary, aluminum foil, sticky paper, and sealing wrap.........this product has managed to keep my cats off the counter. All other methods failed including the spikes. Would highly recommend.

Alarm only, or shock and audible alarm. Can not adjust levels, 1 level only. Heard the alarm twice, have not since. The kitties learn not to be up there, quickly, and stay off.

This worked great when I first got it. It just took a couple zaps to keep my pet from harassing the senior one. And even though the battery is still good and the signal lights work as they should the mat doesn't beep or shock when stepped on it. I thought maybe the dust on the floor was the issue so I made sure to wipe the bottom of the mat clean. This is the second mat I've bought with similar capabilities and both didn't last long.

I would give it 5 stars but we can never get this thing to turn off. Despite holding the button down and it flashing red like the instructions say, it still stays in so we just have to remove the battery. Should have an on off switch instead. Works as intended though for our 100lb boxer, 60lb lab and cat.
