Works great. I always wear them so I can roll up the sleeves of my jersey. The wrist guards are actually longer than the proportions on the thumbnail though.

I am a big fan of the Bauer equipment. However, this item doesn't stand up to their standards. The plastic insert covers partially wrist and you have to choose to protect either top, side or the bottom of the wrist. I need to cover at least top and sides of the wrist.... Additionally I have to pay back for the return. I would be willing to cover the return cost if I would not have a good reason to return. However this item is not functional and I am disappointed that I need to cover the cost of the return.
