This one was very thin in comparison to the same product I have purchased in the past. I am not sure if Hobbs if having difficulty with quality control or what. I have been experiencing the same in their other products as well.

I buy the off-white batting by the roll but had a need for a black batt. The individual packaged batt seems a little thinner that what comes on a roll. Maybe once it expands from being tightly compressed in the package it will seem a little thicker.

I was doing a longarm project for a customer and they had a solid black quilt. I did not want to use white or cream colored batting for their $900 project. It sewed like a dream and there was no issues with thin or thick spots.
