Used to field dress my deer. Worked good to cut the pelvic bone and open the rib cage.Very sharp.

The saw itself came sharp and ready to go. It's a bit longer than I expected as the tang adds an inch to the blade and to fold it properly an inch to the handle. My nit is that the blade and handle aren't co-linear. The sheath is pretty cheap and I don't expect it to last long. October 10, 2013 Update - saw handle broke behind the blade lock at the edge of the rubber grip. When I went to see why I discovered that the plastic in the handle wasn't a fiber filled resin so was weak and the black rubber grip cut into the handle material enough to weaken the handle as the point where the most pressure is likely to be applied. DO NOT PURCHASE this saw, it's a cheaply-made version that won't last.
