I used this for the carpet in my 1951 Chevy Deluxe. Besides being faded, the carpet was in good condition, so I opted to try this instead replacing and it worked impressively. I bought several cans, but only used 1 can for the carpet pictured. That was with applying generous coats. I'd assume you'd need more than one can if you are changing the color of the carpet. As with any paint or dye, you'll want to let it dry completely before use.

It make the carpet looks good but it stains your feet if you walk barefooted

I'm restoring a 1978 Corvette and the interior was parchment white, now, thanks to you guys, it's now black and your product is basically foolproof. I would recommend this product to everyone and I'll be back for more.

This so called big can didn't cover any more material than the smaller can of OER brand I had. But it was still cheaper so I guess it's still a better deal

I used this to restore the original black carpet that was faded/worn in my ‘64 Jetstar 88. Matched perfect. One semi heavy coat did the trick. Unfortunately being a huge car I was only able to get about ¾ coverage. Another can on the way.

needed three cans for the whole inside of my Jeep Wrangler TJ comfortably would have used 3.5. took the worn stained grey carpet to a factory black clean look. very nice.

Liked it used it to dye my seats and carpet in my 1998 GT Mustang interior looks like new and refreshed. Will order again!!!
