Good thing I read the reviews! I'm normally a size 11 or 11 1/2, reading those reviews made me aware they run small. So, I ordered a size 12 and size 12 was actually a bit snug, but snug enough to be the perfect size once they are worn a bit. The boots themselves are great quality and very comfortable.

Just arrived and looks like a good, affordable, and lightweight hiker. Unfortunately, the size 10 is a half-size too small. I'll return for a 10.5, if available.

I would say the run small. I normally wear a 10 wide. They didn't have wide so I ordered a 10 and a half expecting there to be extra room.My pinky toe and my big toe were smushed, and not enough room in front of my big toe at .5 bigger.Enough about the bad, the style and downward pressure were very nice, The roll in the soul of the shoe, making it comfortable to get up onto your toes was nice. All around. I think this will be a very capable boot. And that being said, I am going to research this company and see if they make a wide boot and try them.

I bought this three times returning twice! Since I live in Asia sizes here are very hard to determine since sellers purchase their merchandise from various sellers in Asia at a cheaper cost. So…I always try to order a size bigger. My son who is 6’4 and wears a US 12.5-13 with a wider foot factor made it hard to decipher. He is happy with a size regular 13 as there are no half sizes. It’s very comfy. Do not get wide unless you have extremely wide feet.

I'll admit it, I bought these because they are half the price of most other products out there. But I'm tired of buying waterproof hikers that aren't, of buying name brand boots that have clearly lost something in quality yet still expect us to pay a more premium price, or buying 'features that basically don't really differentiate or separate the boots from everything else. Columbias, Tims, and Merrells have all let me down recently.I'm at the point where I only get a year out of my boots anymore anyway, so why pay two and a half times more and still need to replace them each year when I can buy these and do the same for a better price. These HI_TEC boots are as comfortable as the others (more so in a few cases). The toe box is roomy and doesn't pinch, is flexible at the base of the toes and doesn't pressure my foot there, and the lacing works snugly against my arch and keeps my foot in place even on steeper terrain. The footbed overall is cushioning and I can go all day in these. The stitching is solid, the panels and other components are put together well and the upper seems reasonably well anchored to the sole. These boots have maintained their waterproof ability after a month of daily use on my farm, including dew drenched pastures, muddy puddles, being caught in downpours, and so on.So so far, these are providing great value and unless they fall apart before then, if I get a year out of them then they've done their job.Edit: 10/16/23 Ok, these are finally starting to fall apart. The stitching that holds the black front bumper to the upper is fraying/rotting and falling out , especially at the sides where the upper flexes, and they are starting to separate.Having said that, I've gotten over 4 months of use out of them. I wore them pretty much every day, and doing a rough calculation with my step tracker, I got 1, 800,000 steps with them, averaging 7 miles a day. Most of the wear was outside, either around my property while I did farm chores or walking dogs. For me, the price/performance was 4.5 stars. I bought them for hard use during the summer and they gave me exactly that, without paying three times as much when I know I won't get three times the life.

When I ordered these for my son I first thought I was making a mistake. Because he is so picky. But I ordered them anyway. I received them a told him I had got a good pair of hiking boots for him an he could wear around farm working. Well after a couple of weeks. He put them on a did some fencing a working in hills cutting trees. That evening he was speechless about the books. He said we should get another pair for a backup. I ask why. He said these are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn a they are light on my feet an have great grip when climbing mountains. Clean up good. He was worn them every single day he’s had to work outside an also to meetings. They are about 3 years old a still in great shape. I intend to order another pair for him after Christmas. For him to say this about the boots is a good story. Because he’s very critical of stuff. They are reasonable a made well to stand up to the places a roughness he puts them thru. These are great. I’d buy an will buy again. GREAT BOOTS.

Boots are good quality especially for the price. Nerd a little breaking in for sure sole is stiff, be aware the toe area might be a little narrow for some with Fred Flintstone feet. I ordered the wide width as I usually do and the boot fits with just a stamdard cotton sock, so beware it fits true to size as a wide width tennis shoe. Otherwise it is a good product and will work well for light to moderate hiking.

I bought these because I had a trip to Iceland planned which was to involve day-long excursions. Iceland in April is cold, rainy, and downright sloppy, but I wasn't about to let something like "the weather" prevent me from seeing everything I could while I was there. My boot options were lacking, so I decided to buy myself a pair of boots for full day, potentially wet and cold walking. My priorities were: 1) waterproof, 2) warm, 3) comfortable, and 4) not too pricey. I came upon the HI-TEC Ravus WP Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots for Men and they seemed to hit all my points, so I gave them a chance. I'm happy to say they were greatly exceeded my expectations! The weather was pretty nasty on some days, but not once were my feet cold or wet, and I felt like I could have walked all day (which I did more than once). My feet are never not cold, so if these kept my feet warm then they are the real deal. Recommend.
