I bought this as a replacement for the one I forgot to remove before I drove the truck. I haul travel trailers and fifth wheel campers for a living. The company I'm leased to requires me to use a padlock on the pin release handle to prevent some clown from releasing the pin from the fifth wheel while the truck is unattended. Being under 6 feet tall, this tire step has been a lifesaver. It's also great for doing work in the engine bay.Just a tip for new users, set up the adjustments that fit your needs, then go directly to your local home improvement store and buy four nylon lock nuts and replace the two nuts and two wing nuts that the step is assembled with. The original nuts will eventually back out and fall off at the most inopportune time.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. It really makes loading our truck bed easier. He is not a small guy and it holds his weight just fine, and it folds up pretty flat so that it's easy to store inside the truck. Nothing else to say except that I would recommend.

Good quality step ...if you are less than 200 lbs. Not the fault of the seller, but this step did not fit my 33” off road tires. I tried them on my standard 17” car tire and it fit great! But, I wouldn’t need this step for a standard sedan. The step seemed a little spongy and I had an unsafe feeling that it wouldn’t support my 225 lbs for long. I returned this step, and again, no fault of the seller.

I love this gadget, I cant reach the windows on my expedition, or even check the oil! but this step has fixed that!!, it is heavy, and I think they could have made the carry case/bag a bit larger, I am 67, and struggle to get it back into its case by myself. other wise I would have given it 5 stars!
