I intentionally mounted it up-side-down. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was exactly what I wanted. I wanted my bike rack off the floor and out of the way, but not in a way that it sticks way out (as though mounted on my car) and where it is able to hold bikes (my bike already has a good place to be). I wanted the rack more flush to the wall, on the side wall of my garage where there is not much room on that side of my car, so I mounted this wall mount up-side-down and higher than intended, and thanks to its "folding" feature, I can use it to HANG my bike rack. And it's PERFECT! (see photo)

it works as advertised. Minor issue is that I am not able to install the pin to secure it to the receiver, I needed to use a small diameter bolt

I love this. It's easy to install and when I return from a bike outing I simply load myBike rack into it and then add the bike. I'm well over 60 & by installing this at my height level, I do not have to lift my bike up over head or in an extended reach to hang it back up. It's sturdy and even folds up when not being used.
